    Tough one.

    Chester, Hobbs, Koren ???

Rosey would have been in there but is form has fallen away, bit like McKenna.

If I had to pick one it 'd be Chester I think.

best goal Fryatt vs Barnsley last game

    Player of season: Koren

team needs to be built around him if we are to have any chance next season, he wants PL, he'll stay for the last year of his contract. Chester, Koren & Fryatt are absolutely vital to keep, plus I think we need King.

Shame Mannone has not played the full season, nobody mentioned him at all here I see. My vote would go to Chester.

Goal of the season Koren v Leicester

    Chester,who will leave now.

    Hobbs,the most improved player.

Fryatt, some say he doesn't score enough. I say without him we'd be league 1 now.

Didn't want to leave Koren out. Or Rosie,Daws,Mckenna. It's can't have been that bad a season !

Fryatt's was a great goal but too late to make the shortlist it seems. His goal against Ipswich is listed but it was like a downgraded version of the one against Barnsley.

Should be renamed Armchair fans player of the year award, yes Koren has been good and scored some vital goals but how anyone who goes regularly would put him above Hobbs and Chester is beyond me, reason we are up anyway near the play offs is a superb defence

I really don't see why Koren gets ahead of Chester, Hobbs, McKenna, even Fryatt.

He may be the most talented player we have but he's far from the most consistent and he's probably the most lazy.

i think if you took away every goal koren had an involvment in, there would probably be about 5 left and we would be rock bottom.
you can use the same argument for the clean sheets hobbs and chester helped create and i wouldnt disagree with you, all worthy contenders but thats why people voted for him.

Whilst it sounds a bit like an attack on certain fans, I agree with you. Those two have been far better than any of the attack for me. Chester has recieved plaudits from his team mates and from some neutrals I guess, but I still feel as though he hasn't got the praise he deserves, and Hobbs certainly hasn't.

Someone pointed out to me that Chester wasn't even listed as a nominee on the big screen, even though myself and the person who told me both voted for him. I didn't notice either way at the time, I didn't even entertain the idea of him not being up there. Can anyone confirm this and if so, how do you get nominated? You're not telling me McLean, Dawson and Evans got more votes?!

Don't know about the screen but the OWS said Chester was second in the closest contest for ages. (I think they said Hobbs was 3rd).
