We were good going forward today but poor defensively(btw im aware thats a real obvious statement); personally i am not one that has bought into the premise that ferdinand and evans have been awesome this season; which is proved by the fact weve now conceded more goals this season than we have in any premier league season. Im not saying theyve been awful i just feel that smalling and or jones would be a better partner for ferdinand(for me he has to play atm because we need some experience back there) Tbh i think city will take advantage of this nervousness at the back and im not sure how confident i am that we'll win at city. This isnt to say that we wont win the league i just think at this point we should all be very anxious. Anyone else agree with me here ?
I'd take a draw to be honest. Even if we win we'll probably lose our next match 7 6 after being 6 0 up. What a ****ing joke.
I just worry about there front 2 tevez will chase and close down all day long and carrick can sometimes struggle under those cirumstances i.e the first half of todays game; it will also cause evans and ferdy problems both of whom look liable to slip or play a poor pass when under too much pressure; and then with the pace of aguero in behind city will worry us we'll have to be at our absolute best going forward because for me we'll need to score at least 2 goals to get anything out of the game
Yeah i completely agree with you but despite our experience in these positions im still a little worried
City have crumbled whenever the pressure has been on them. They will fluff their lines on monday night and we will, at worst, get a draw. Marks my words
