    Mine -

    Goal Keeper

Krul - 9 - Awesome. Just awesome. Has made so many amazing saves to save us points. Has improved his all round game a lot and has been one of the most important players for us this season.

    Defenders

Simpson - 8 - Great season. Some off moments, but he's took all the criticism and improved a lot, and formed in to quite a solid Premier League RB.

Saylor - 8 - Yes I know he played half a season, but it was no coincidence that as soon as he came off, we started leaking goals. He was one of the main reasons behind our sensational and critical start to the season, that installed belief in the team to go on and do this. He made so many fantastic blocks and his strength and aerial presence was vital. Did a great job.

Williamson - 7 - He had his bad games, but for the most part, he's done very well. He had to deal with a lot of pressure and criticism, but came back strong and his aerial presence has been vital. Not a patch on Saylor, but without him, we'd not be in the position we are in now, he's played his part and got a lot of stick. He cost us some goals and he lacked confidence and flopped a bit at times, but his presence in the back I think tightened us back up after our little blip during Christmas. Technical performances wise, people may not think he deserves this rating, but we have to take our hats off to the way he's dealt with it and for most of his games, he's done well. We needed him.

Colo - 9 - Very, very consistent. We lack communication and composure at the back without him. He's took on the role of captain extremely well and his performances have been extremely consistent. Very well done Colo.

Santon - 7 - Needs developing, and had his bad games when he was carved open too easily, but during most of his games, he's been very exciting to watch and been a breath of fresh air. He will be very good for us with our new style of play. Great pace, very comfortable on the ball, so lethal going forward, and he;s only 21. Amazing signing. Can't wait until he's on the right linked up with Ben Arfa. Imagine Ben Arfa and Santon on the right? Jizz!! The pace, the skill, Ben Arfa cutting in or passing to Santon who can cross or play a ball along the ground.

    Defenders/Mids

Raylor - 7 - Questionable play in that LB position at times, but scores some fantastic goals, vital goals, provided some fantastic crosses to set up chances, played numerous different roles without question. He's not the best LB but he had to fill Enrique's boots and did a good job. He's been vital. Good season.

Perchinio - 8 - Proved himself a great prospect. So versatile. Good 2nd half to the season, we can see why Pards played him as a sub so often and had faith in him. Good and very valuable player. And who signed him? Hughton. Cheers Chrissy.

Jonas - 8.5 - Awesome this season. Worked his testicles off, vital to our defense and played his part in attack. One of the players of the season. Consistent, very hard working and versatile.

    Mids

Tiote - 6.5 - Has found it hard at times due to injuries and ACoN. Hasn't been involved as much as we wanted, since Jan he's been very good and when he's been playing recently, even though Guthrie, Raylor and Perch have done a good job, he reminds us what we miss when he's absent. Such a powerful presence. We need the summer so he can rest and make sure any knocks he could still be carrying are healed and he can start fresh next season.

Cabaye - 8 - A little bit inconsistent, and was outshone by Guthrie during the middle of the season in terms of performances, but for the start and towards the end of the season he was excellent and is completely vital to us. He has superb vision and has provided vital passes and scored vital goals also. The good thing is, I don't think he's even at 100% yet!

Guthrie - 8 - Stepped in and filled the boots of a creative and holding midfielder, and was consistent with his performances. Annoying that he's still picking up injuries quite often, but he's done a very good job and IMO has been the most consistent performer in the center of our midfield. Not at the same level as Cabaye when he's playing well, but he's been more consistent.

Obertan - 5.5 - Maybe a bit too high, but the guy has assisted quite a few goals this season. Tried hard, did well in certain games.

    Forwards

Ba - 9.5 - Fantastic pretty much all season. Scored a load of goals and carried us at times. He's not scoring now, and that must be very frustrating, but he's still performing very well and is still vital in our set up. His presence and play has played a part in a lot of our recent goals. For the full season, I'd have to give man of the season award to Mr Ba.

Cisse - 8 - He's only been hear for a little while, but there's no doubt that he's one of the main reasons for us adopting this new style. Awesome. Can't give him as much as Ba though, and I just don't think giving him a 9 would be quite justified yet and do a disservice to our other players who have worked hard all season.

Ben Arfa - 8 - Worked so hard to get back from a terrible injury. Didn't fit into our old system, still scored the odd goal and set up chances though. However, recently he's picked up form and proven he's easily our best all round player, and has been again vital since we adopted this new style.

Best - 6 - Feel a bit sorry because he gets undeserved stick quite a lot. He scores goals when relied upon, and when Ba came and started scoring, Best wasn't scoring but was creating chance, working hard and played his part when he was playing.

Shola - 6.5 - We've found his place and I think he's happy with it. He's a beast when coming on as a sub, and has scored a couple of vital goals. His presence has played a big part in our play at the back and up the front at times. He's not great, but he does his part, I don't want him to go. Useful.

We can make this the overall season ratings thread, so at the end of the season you can provide us with your opinion.

I think it's close enough to the end to give players ratings. Just in case we have a hard last 3-4 games, players make mistakes and people make knee jerk reactions to the last few games and use certain players as scape goats and give them poor ratings.

Think that this is the right time right before we go into the final push.

Is posting cast amounts of random text a new tactic to bad threads?

Yes, but gay moderation means that it gets removed - a shame as it was quite interesting stuff about a Scottish dock yard. <cool>

But what if Obertan single handedly wins us the Chelsea game?

Tiote has been in and out and others have had to fill in for him. He's only been really good in 2012.

This review is for the season.

He's been good recently, but since he's been inconsistent and only been at his best for a certain amount of games, I gave him a 6.5 for his contribution.

It's not my view of how good these players are, it's how they've contributed to the season.

I think he had a ccouple of bad games at the start of the season, however since then when fit I'd say he gets a 10 all day from me.

I find a perverse joy in reading his opinions anyway, why do you guys have to complain about it?
