and West Ham win tomorrow we mustn't forget that Hull have one of the meanest defences in the Championship. Only 20 conceded away from home. Not a gimme for West Ham by any means. They would much rather be playing Coventry! Positive thinking. You can't beat it!
On an even more positive note ( Sort of ) . If west ham win tomorrow & saturday & we only draw , we can still go up on GD ..............
Err, we have to beat Coventry, that should be the only focus. If other situations help, so be it, but if we fail to beat Coventry, then that will be a rather large blot on a incredible season.
It would be HR, but I will stand and applaud the lads, even if the worst does happen. They have been incredible this season and I want to thank them for that, then I'll go home and kick something. But don't worry, we'll win.
It's the only way I can cope... with anything, frankly. There is often no point in thinking the very worst. Being aware that the worst can happen is entirely right, but to embrace it as if that is the going to be the outcome, when there is either more chance, or just as much chance, of better scenarios, is just self destructive. For those that simply can't think positively, because they think in one of the myriad of another ways, I would simply ask them to try to do at least one thing... just don't anticipate disappointment. If the worst should happen, you won't feel any better for being able to say to yourself and others, I told you so. And before anyone does kick a cat, should the worst happen. One word - playoffs.
Recently we have had good results followed by bad, so we are due a good one...starting with Leicester tomorrow.
I no longer have a cat to kick. He cleared off before I got home from the Reading game and hasn't been seen since. I can't even kick the dog as he is still hiding under the neighbour's bed and won't come out until the season is over!
We bottled it big time. The only good thing I can see is that Leicester can give West Ham trouble so you never know...It's win or bust for West Ham.
