After China (which was cooler) proved that two stops is too risky a strategy, I think we'll see most teams opt for a three-stopper. The difference will be which tyres they put on when. Personally my strategy would be to stick the options on last as the track rubbers in, but I've always been a fan of banzai runs at the end of a race.

Mark and vettel were using 2 different exhausts throughout practice. RBR came to the conclusion that the version Webber was using was better than the version Seb was using so before qualifying, Seb was given the other version and they used Marks data to make sure Seb would be able to get past Q1. All data collected is given to both drivers for the best result.

Vettel taking Webber's set-up will give his critics a field day.

Lol, let's be honest Webber has taken tons of setups from Seb in the past, but it's only newsworthy when Mark has to repay the favour or leave Seb guessing what works well with the new exhaust layout during Q1, possibly shooting themselves in the foot.

Mark up to his old tricks again!

Vettel's exhaust overheated at the end of FP3 which is probably why he had to change. He's looked quicker than Mark almost all weekend so I don't see why he'd suddenly copy what Mark was doing unless he was forced.

Not really, we just feel the crap the media bring up about Seb vs Webber always try to make out that Mark is always being shafted by RBR. Him speaking like that plants the seed that Mark did all the work and Seb just jumped at the end and got all the glory.

Webber though doesn't seem to bring up that track evolution was constant during qualifying and needed constant tweaks to the car for the fatest setup. Seb might of got Webbers set up by RBR orders at the start, but it was Sebs final input that made the pole for him, not Webber.

The media did not really bring it up at all, it was just an innocuous sentence in one article which I just highlighted because I knew it would annoy Vettel fans. <laugh>

I hope you're joking. I thought it was an interesting observation and if you weren't so touchy, Silver, it wouldn't have become an issue. Team mates often take setup information from each other and, since this weekend's exhaust is an evolution of the so-called Webber spec exhaust (by Marko IIRC) it's natural that the bulk of team data would have come from Webber's side of the garage. Why you have to be so defensive about Webber having led an element of progress within the team is beyond me.
