Here are Oliver Holt's views on the lovely Gerrard. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opi...r-our-tattooed-footballers-article599701.html http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opi...-full-time-England-captain-article573937.html http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opi...-Writers-Association-dinner-article26817.html Oliver Holt: England's official arse kisser of Steven "AOABH" Gerrard.
This is my opinon of the article "My top five this season are Parker, Luka Modric, Jack Wilshere, Nemanja Vidic and John Terry" What an earth has John ****ing Terry done? This guy is hate filled of Nani and I hope it spurs Nani on even more. Everyone hates Nani except me and some other true Utd fans but he has to be most hated footballer in the premier league. I already know he won't win the award because he is never ever spoken about in a good light. It does not matter as he will be on the list for Balon D Or next season and that is his aim. However, for the good of Nani he should leave this league and join a league where they appreciate skill and talent. I really am praying he joins one of the big teams in Italy or Spain and he will. Mark my words Nani will leave. The fact he has said he does not enjoy his football here and is tired of the injuries he suffers and the fact he is tired of not being allowed to express himself has to be a massive incentive to leave. Man Utd are probably getting ready to replace him with Ashley Young.
Despite there being a tinge of bitterness in Holts article, the main point rings true. Nani is not the player of the season.
Nani loses possession too often imo and when he's bad (sorry for using a Jacko song) he's really bad. However, he has still been statistically the best attacking player in England this season.
And John ****ing deserves to be on that shortlist above nani, nasri and many more players. Even ****ing rooney deserves to be on the list above terry. I don't care I just want Nani out of this Utd side. Please can he demand to leave this declining sugar daddy filled league. Nani I hope you leave and I was post this on your twitter
Why? I thought you supported Utd, and according to you, Nani is helping (carrying) Man Utd to victory. So why do you WANT him to leave? Fail.
How is it fail? He has carried Utd because Ferguson has made him carry us but someone else will carry us after he leaves and that always happens. Nani will want to leave and probably is begging to leave man utd because of the way he is treated in england. Time to move on for the talented winger. His ability is being stunted here. Just imagine if Ronaldo never went Utd and just went straight to madrid or Barca....
Okay I will back up my claim The 24-year-old is intrigued by the prospect of moving to Italy and has spoken at length with his family and his agent, Jorge Mendes, about whether a move to Serie A would be possible and if it is the right point of his career to try to make it happen. His thinking is not based on any serious discontent with his current employers, with Nani relatively settled in Manchester and enjoying his new status as one of Sir Alex Ferguson's more important players, but he is coming to the end of his fourth season in England and has started to believe it might be time for a different challenge, if not this summer then almost certainly next. Nani's belief is that he has done as well as anyone could have been expected to filling the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo's departure and that a Premier League or European Cup winners' medal at the end of this season would leave him with little more to achieve at United. Ferguson has talked him out of wanting to leave once before, in the 2010 January transfer window, but the player of then and now are vastly different in terms of their worth to the side. Nani's development into a wide player of penetration and confidence has led to him scoring 10 times and accumulating 15 assists this season, in contrast to his earlier days when there were only sporadic flashes of the talent that persuaded United to pay about ã18m to sign him from Sporting Lisbon. The winger, who has been declared fit for the Champions League tie against Marseille after recovering ahead of schedule from a gashed left leg, is currently playing the best football of his life, to the point where there is a firmly held belief at Old Trafford that he should be a realistic contender for the player of the season shortlist. The Guardian broke the story of United signing the then 20-year-old Nani in 2007 and has spoken to the same sources in Portugal to establish that 12 months since signing a new four-year contract at United, he is deliberating over several scenarios depending on what happens before the end of the season. Importantly, he is willing to wait to see what pans out, in contrast to the way Ronaldo made it a personal mission to leave for Real Madrid. source guardian which is a decent paper Also “I try to enjoy playing now, but it is not always possible because I have a responsibility to the team,” Nani said. The fact he does not enjoy playing for us is a massive incentive to leave. He is tired of not being allowed to express himself and surly will seek move soon enough. Also Nani has been the subject of speculation that he might be looking to leave Old Trafford in the summer and the rough treatment he receives on the pitch may be a factor in that. "English football is like that. It is about making tackles," he said. "The fans enjoy it. "I played against Marseille but maybe I couldn't play tomorrow because I have so many injuries. "I always finished the game sore because I have had three or four tackles on the same part of my ankle." Nani is clearly pissed off about English football and I feel it is time for him to leave. I am sure he is thinking about it. If we win the Fa Cup he will have won everything there is to win and will likely leave. I am also sure many people will be happy when he leaves and I will be happy for his sake others because they dont like him.
So you're "backing up" your claim on a newspaper article? Regardless of whether the Guardian is a good paper or not is irrelevant, it's still media speculation and proves nothing.
I backed it up with quotes from Nani. The guardian dont publish **** unless it has some substance. Why do you care anyway? Nani is going to leave so why don't you celebrate?
Why would I celebrate? Where have you actually seen me say that I think Nani isn't beneficial to the team? That's right... you haven't. Just because I don't laud over him like he's some kind of prophecy, does not mean I do not think he's a talented footballer. But there are other players at United. You can accept that or stay under your Nani-themed rock.
