You can bet that if the tables were turned, there wouldn't be many skunks admitting we were a good team. Even when we have been the top NE team for the past 3 seasons they couldn't bring themselves to say well done and admit we were the better team.

    So ****'em basically. Lol

Its ok you can console yourself in the fiction that some of your support blowing smoke up our arses in hindsight makes you superior

When your fans stop getting arrested for racially abusing footballers on Twitter, then tell us the sun shines from your inbred arse.

How come there is always one gobshite prick takes a clearly joke remark and returns it with an insult?

    There's a poser.

Wasn't the guy arrested on Tyneside, but from Burnley, anyway.

I see Pardew has come out and said the fans need to give Mike Ahsley some credit.

Some credit! They need to crawl on their bellies and beg forgiveness if u ask me. He saved the club from a fate worse than Portsmouth. Bankruptcy and beyond. He has cleared out the failing big time Charlie's at the club. He is trying to create wealth for Newcastle so the can compete. He has turned the debt around. Throughout this time he has been derided by many Newcastle fans. I have a colleague who still refuses to go back to the SDA until Ashley leaves!!!!!! Unbelievable. The amount of personal abuse he has had from the Newcastle fans, well I can only imagine what Steve Bruce would make of it.

Not just the Newcastle fans but plenty of pundits have slagged Ashley too. Clearly he made mistakes but these same pundits now hold the Newcastle formula up a shining light as do their short memory fans. Credit indeed to MR Ashley. Big shame to the Newcastle fans. They should all have a huge slice of humble pie and admit he was right, they were wrong!

All this success could have happened to a nicer club.

Can't deny they're having a belter of a season though.

Sorry WP , I'll never turn to the dark side.

I was applauding the fact that your team has played some good football , not that I wanted to become one of you.

So as you refuse to accept my congratulations in the spirit they were offered , I won't offer them again. FTM.

The mags, where I drink in Ashington, have held their hands up, and acknowledged, Ashly and Pardew. only thing they cant get over is the naming of the ground. Mind this was Ashington, and the people I know, not speaking for the rest.

Ashley has unarguably done a great job (stadium name apart)...but whether it's down to luck or skill is another question..
