I always thought the becks fee was a rip off and maybe if the potential for shirt sales wasnt massive we would have got less dont get me wrong, becks (and g nev) on the right for utd was perfect, but as a player i agree with those who saw his game as 'limited'
Possibly but my word he was a great set piece taker his free kicks were world class the one against Barcelona in the treble season always sticks to mind.
I think that Utd made a mistake not for selling Becks but for only getting £25m for him. Real was prepared to pay up to £40 m for him. As for Ronaldo, he was worth £80m to Real. They are champions because of him.He is also seeling shirts for them but he is one of the best 2 players in the world (since they cannot get Messi). I am happy for Ronaldo for scoring the winning goal yesterday. I don't particularly like the 2 spanish giants but if I had to choose, I will choose Real.
