http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17769654 No wonder the board are so happy. Seriously, it's time to start reinvesting money into the squad. With this kind of valuation, we have the financial muscle to really compete.
Makes one wonder why indeed the investment has been so grudging..... Oh but I forgot. The players weren't available!!!
Being the 4th most valuable club just means we're the 4th most expensive to buy. It has nothing to do with profits, transfer funds etc.
Yes that is true - we already know that we have plenty of cash too though. Plus, that kind of valuation, as long as we remain profitable, makes it a darn sight easier to arrange finances.
To be fair the valuation is a result of profitability - it shows we have a very profitable and healthy business. Time to reinvest some of profits that have driven our valuation so high.
Ditto We have the cash and we have the accounts to raise more cash if needed or perhaps allow an owner to raise cash for his own investments...
Fourth is just fourth my friend and if Chelsea should win the CL, fourth will mean nothing..... Third would be better but First would be the big prize
1st is better than 4th. You are one smart cookie Although I am not sure how Chelski winning the CL will affect our standing as the 4th most valuable football club in the world?
The valuation doesn't actually prove we have any money. All it shows is how much it would cost to buy the club.Usmanov has susposedly been trying to buy shares at between £14,500 and £16,000.The are are approx 60,000 shares.
We have money. Just look at the accounts, reference to which has been made here on several occasions. Everyone knows we have money and knows too that we don't spend it.
The list published by Forbes shows the most valuble teams not the richest.Man Citeh are reputedly<sic> the wealthiest team in the world.According to Forbes they certainly aren't the most valuble.
