Tense start, but after that... sexual stuff - My thoughts on the game!

Well, I could feel the nerves around the ground, and you could see it a bit in the players, and the hope. We tried to get into the mood early on, but there were some nerves about, but after the first goal the whole town was buzzing.

You should have heard the noise at central station when QPR scored vs Spurs today. Epic.

Someone please answer this question... how the **** does Cabaye get such great power on his shots with the side of his foot? Seriously man. He had a bit of a off middle of the season, but when he's on form his passing and long shots are ****ing beautiful.

Pardew is a ****ing genius. Our beast front 3, our hard working 2 DM's, and Cabaye in a free role the freedom to wave his magic wand.

Ben Arfa is just awesome. He's literally a magician with his skill and left foot.

Ratings -

Krul - 5 - Nowt much to do.

Simpson - 7 - Good game.

Willo - 8 - Got beaten in the air at times, but all round he was solid.

Colo - 8 - Apart from the time when he let Walters have a free run in the box, he was solid and excellent.

Santon - 8 - Great game. Saved us from conceding right at the end. He made some fantastic runs forward, and dealt with the pressure of Stoke very well.

Tiote - 7.5 - Some great passes and some ****e passes. All round he was great today.

Jonas - 7 - Good performance.

Cabaye - 9 - One fantastic assist, some great chances created, amazing passing, and a beautiful 2nd goal. Has to be MOTM.

Ben Arfa - 8 - Some great work and beautiful skills.

Cisse - 8.5 - Great game. Great play.

Ba - 7 - Unlucky not to score today, it's just not happening for him at the moment. He's lost confidence and needs to take an extra touch. He just so needs that goal to get him back to his old self. But good all round performance.

Perch - 7 - Good performance from the bench. His first touch stopped a shot on goal from 6 yards. Good performance.

Gosling - N/A - Didn't really see him do anything tbh.

Shola - N/A - Not a the normal Messi like impact performance he usually provides. Oh well.

Overall - ****ing get in!!!

Lets just hope we can cope with the pressure. It's very possible.

Wigan lost today could be on a bit of a downer. We can take advantage. We are in the best league form out of anyone.

Cabaye would shade 10 for e Tash. Not often a midfielder gets 2 for us

 

Think today's performance's should earn them all straight 10's. Nobody had a bad game and they all pulled together as a team. Krul might not have had a lot to do but that isn't his fault and what he did do he did well. Just testimony to the players in front of him. And of course, all the good luck that Pulis said we had.

 

Santons best game for us by a mile from what i can remember really looked like he can play in this league today, Solid offensively and defensively. Cabaye was sheer class today and the whole team looked like a team who already play in europe, who are happy and enjoying playing alongside one another (the weird goal celebrations are the main tell)

 

weve basically got some really good players and if we keep them, add 3 or 4 more we will win the league next season.

I'm usually one of Willo's biggest critics, but boy he really did win me over this game...Going up against Crouch, he really did well...

And Perchino did well with his first touch too! A very good team performance and a pleasure to watch.

 

Perchino how could I forget him. The lad is doing very well, and coming on and blocking staight away, that's why Pards has shown faith in him.

 

Puts a bit of a spring in your step coming out of the ground after a game like that.

Didn't even mind losing my bet for a clean sheet. Would have been nice to be picking up of course, but it was like a win win situation.

 

Always want Timmy to keep a clean sheet but a few extra Guinness last night would have been nice.
