There's only 2,500 tickets left in the home end for our final game of the season... http://www.whufc.com/articles/20120419/under-2500-left-for-hull-city_2236884_2736965? There's still a chance that they'll be playing for an automatic place, which could make things interesting. Many going down?
ive got a ticket but probably taking it back, due to work that day and cant be arsed to swap it for an 8am start for a meaningless game, hoping its on tele
I'm off down, just because it's the last excuse I've got to get away from the missus on a Saturday until next season starts.
BBC and Sky will both pick a game for the final games. We have a huge chance of being shown on either if Southampton claim second this Saturday whilst Bristol City only need a point to send Coventry and Portsmouth all-but packing. BBC get first pick of the games, then Sky. BBC haven't shown us whilst they have had the football league live 10 games over the last two or three seasons, but we are playing West Ham.
I'm off down with a few others for the match and a piss up round cockneyland. Getting the 6:50 train down. The early morning start doesn't bother me. I'm usually up earlier than that most days, so infact it's a lie in.
I shall be there But feel that it will be a meaningless game after saturday night. Southampton to Win @ MBoro and end it for the Hammers this weekend. IMO, i feel that either Birmingham or Blackpool will win the play-offs. Then lets see how many tickets are available for the Hammers first home game next season ? Armageddon summer awaits for the Hammers,, imo.
To be honest i would expect Sky to cover Readings game @ Birmingham and Southamptons home game with Coventry as the race for the title could well go down to the last day. BBC may choose Nottingham Forest v. Portsmouth IF massive IF Pompey still have a chance of escape. I fear though that Brizzle will get what they need from a poor Barnsley team tomorrow. BBC also have the option of Crystal Palace v. Cardiff City as the taffs battle for a higher league position.
As all games are kicking off at the same time, the Football League are happy for BBC and Sky to choose their games after this weekend of games, meaning all those ifs and buts will already be decided. And if I'm honest, I expect Coventry, Portsmouth and Southamptons leagues next season to be decided. If Boro win whilst Blackpool or Cardiff lose, then those games will become the main interest as Boro will have a chance to catch the last place off place - but if everything is decided, we will be shown as its West Ham which are one of the bigger teams in the league.
Should West Ham beat Leicester tomorrow, expect our game against West Ham next week to be televised on either BBC or Sky, whilst the other televised game will be Southamptons, especially since second place is the only thing left to determine in this league.
Cardiff at Palace and M'boro at Watford in the race for 6th to be the games if West Ham don't beat Leicester.
Agree. I had completely forgotten about Middlesbrough actually... Suppose those two games have an equal chance or being chosen.
Anyone who plans to go, but hasn't yet got a ticket, get on to the ticket office sharpish, there's no pay on the gate for this one.
They've now got just 500 tickets left... http://www.whufc.com/articles/20120425/just-500-left-for-hull-city_2236884_2736965? And we'd sold 1,000 up to last night.
