Chelsea won't be playing a league game until they come to the Emirates in 2 weeks, which means we could seal their fate (Europa League) then, given that we get maximum points against Wolves and Wigan.
Perhaps because of the mantra our management and negotiating team have. That the players we want were / are not available. It matters not of course that other teams get their men.

Looking more and more like Newcastle and Arsenal to fight for 3rd and 4th. You guys must be in dream land, and now must accept that Pardew and Ashley have been brilliant.
It's great because of how the club has risen from the shadows and to be honest at the end of the table it should be. I think if we can beat Wigan and Chelsea we will get 4th. Mike Ashley has proved us all wrong, however he will have to resist selling all our best players this summer or he'll lose it again very fast.
You wont be selling your best players if you make the CL. There'll be £40m coming in and one very excited squad of players.
I'm more worried about Newcastle than i am about spurs. The toon have been excellent all season, and the form side in the PL. I'm glad we've already got our games against them out of the way.
The more you look the more you realise Newcastle at the Bridge decides 4th. That should be a cracker, but, it's 3 days before the FA Cup final...
I would love it if Newcastle got fourth but I'm not that worried about them to be honest; have you seen their remaining fixtures? They're horrendous! Wigan (a), Chelsea (a), Man City (h), Everton (a).
Looks like Vermaelen last gasp effort will prove to be the most important goal we scored this season.
