fast forward to next week fast forward to the week after think its abit late now arry! then, a week later Cheers arry!
"I love Chelsea, me. Me nephew plays for them. Fat kid, you know the one. I'll pick him when I'm England manager next season. Lovely. Triffic."
"Hey, Ray! What are the in-play odds on 'Arry doing a runner at the end of yet another dire and dismal performance?" "Pretty strong, Ray. You'll not get better than evens, my sahn!" "Cheers, Ray. You're the Daddy!" "Nah. You're the Daddy, Ray!"
Indeed, YV. The boos from the Spurs faithful must still be ringing in his ears. I cannot believe how we have fallen apart. It's very frustrating to watch.
Send the useless idiot packing now. No good having a manager leading a group of players with no faith in him. Clearly lost the plot, the dressing room and now the fans. Bye bye Harry!
However, Redknapp insists that the season would not be a failure, even should Spurs fail to secure Champions League football. "I don't think it's a failed squad whatever we do," he added. "We're not entitled to be above Chelsea. Look at their bench the other night. They had people like [Fernando] Torres and [Daniel] Sturridge and other top players. "I wouldn't say we've got a stronger squad than Chelsea - no way - or a stronger squad than Liverpool come to that. "If we finish fourth we'll be delighted and if we finish third it will be even better. I can't fault the effort of the players this year whatever they do."
Agreed. Not because I'm ungrateful for everything he's achieved for us but there is no longterm for us to hold onto with him. Change manager now and we can hold a small chance of getting a drastic change in because 'Arry's seen us do this for the last 2 months and not remedied it. Redknapp doesn't seem able to change things and he won't be here next season to give a **** either.
he got you into the CL for the first time EVER . forgot that quickly didnt you all ? And yeah , your only 5th in the league , terrible aint it ? If i was Harry reading this pap , i would walk and leave you to sink to mid table and rot .. that is all .
a short while ago Harry was the best thing since sliced bread . lose a few games and its ... " ffs , just go now you useless tw@t " dear dear me . kinda makes my sig from that period a little more ironic dont it .?
Seriously, you're an Arsenal fan. About two months ago your board had roughly two members that weren't calling for the head of your most successful manager of all time. Shh.
Bull. Besides Jayram, pneAWF and berg, I don't think anyone else was seriously calling for Wenger to go. (those 3 were very 'vocal' though.)
A short while ago, people were pointing out problems with his refusal to utilize the squad properly. A short while ago, people were worried he'd loaned out too many players in January. A short while ago, people were concerned we didn't add to our squad in January. If you're going to spend so much time on our board, you could at least read the posts on it...
It's not even a short while ago though, Croydon. I know that I wasn't alone in complaining about the lack of rotation about a third of the way into last season. It's unbelievable that Redknapp didn't learn from that and it's even more bizarre that he doesn't seem to have realised it even now. His bullshit today about being small up front is ludicrous. If he was worried about height, then why did he sell Crouch, who we all know pairs up well with Defoe and keep Pavlyuchenko, who he never wanted to play? To then move the Russian on in January and bring in another striker who's never going to complement Defoe is just stupid.
I don't think Pav was kept as much as we just didn't get any bids for him because we wanted too much A big problem for us has been holding out for too much for players 'Arry simply didn't want. I'm not going to pretend this isn't with hindsight but Gio, Bassong, Kranjcar and Pav could've gone for £3/4mill less than we wanted but atleast it'd have meant we wouldn't have been reduced to simply signing only Saha and Nelsen and could have one or two extra players that 'Arry rates enough to have challenging for a place in the side. Better than having players that either don't fit in to our system or aren't rated as anything but last resort.
