The more I see that foul by Hines the more it looks like a straight red, let alone a yellow. The 'covering player' was level with Lallana and would never have blocked that shot. That bizarre decision has cost us no doubt about it. Gutted that we aren't going to be champions, but we'll still go up.
Definitely bottled it. The only way that could not have been a yellow is if it wasn't a foul at all. I'm clueless.
I would argue that Guly was the closest to scoring in the second half, twice - when he comes on these days he is being played deeper as a playmaker.
Leicester have f.a to play for west ham will win. I dont know why everyone is getting so cocky about cov at home, thats by no means nailed on
Leicester have "f.a." to play, so they'll lose. But Coventry, who also have "f.a." to play for, is by no means nailed on? Don't quite follow your logic there.
No, you're making me look clever. One of quite a few on here who make the rest of us look like a convention of geniuses. If you have a definition for what a proper supporter is, let us know. If not, stop being a prize twit.
Ok maybe i didn't explain it properly; Leicester have a comfortable mid table finish. Their players will mentally already be on the beach. Cov have pride to play for. They will want to go out of the league with a bang. What's difficult to understand about that?
Yeah, if only he'd been about six inches back when he hit that. Good effort. In the televised matches, I've found what we lack is any sort of urgency towards the end. Never got the feeling we were putting too much pressure on their goal. Shame we can't just play Leeds on TV every season. Were those the only two we won on TV? Struggling to think of another. We didn't draw any. Another week to give the FLS a miss, though! See you all down SMS on Saturday!
Nothing is ever nailed on. But it's pretty damned difficult to get upset about the fact that we're facing an already-relegated team on the final day of the season for promotion...and only then if West Ham takes all six points and by a large enough margin to threaten our GD. Life goes on; don't panic.
Everything. A) Leicester are better than Coventry. The league table sort of proves this. B) There is little reason to suggest that Leicester will be any less, or any more, interested in playing for pride than Coventry. Both have nothing to play for.
I'm 99% certain that we will do the business next weekend (assuming West Ham win), but even if we do manage to lose against Coventry, I will be giving the lads a standing ovation for a brilliant season (which will not be finished because of the play-offs) I love the team, win or lose, and this season has made me proud to be a Saints fan. I'm very optimistic for the future of the club, with many good young players likely to break through to the first team in the near future. Remember, smile, you could support the Skates!
Whatever happens I hope Leicester end West Hams chances, or the Coventry game will be nervous as hell. Coventry have nothing to be nervous of so will go for it.
Twice? A speculative long range effort and a reaction header. Doesn't make him impressive in my book. We didn't need a deep play make we needed impact and direction.
Steve De Ridder makes impact and direction does he? Do you count running around in circles misplacing passes and putting in **** crosses as direction and impact?
