    Based on the first half hour, all I see is another hour of frustration, I think if there were 2 goalframes at that end we'd still miss them!

    What you talking about? I love the way he can play short, side-ways balls in the middle or stand around static when he's not got the ball.

    Jesus, though - that's not the only problem. Loads of possession, no cutting edge, no movement in the final 3rd and a goal against us against the run of play.

    When was the last time Bale had a good game for us?

    When had VDV and Defoe EVER worked? I didn't expect us to score when I saw that team-sheet.

    We're the second worst team in the league right now. What the hell has gone so wrong? And I don't want to sound too much like a whining gooner but we really have had no luck for about three months now.

    We seem to have abandoned the Benny Bale spearhead on the left. It started part time but now Bale is never there. Time to reinstate this piece of play as what we are doing is not working.
