This is not a great performance by Blackburn. This is an awful performance by us. We are like a bad version of Stoke.
Maybe it might be us that allows them to put in a great performance? Blackburn have not been playing really well. I consider myself a positive Norwich fan, but the only positive thing of note to come out of this so far, is Vaughan's 60 minutes game time without injury.
Second half Surman has lost the ball every time he has had it, wish he had more consistency sometimes.
I'm not going to compliment Blackburn they've anticipated the movement of our midfield, the forwards have been stranded and the defence has been let down by the full backs in my opinion. Not a good performance but there is still time.
We have been pretty poor for the middle of the match, but we started brightly and are finishing with a little bit of fight. I never like to see my team to lose especially when we are playing a side who on paper despite their position hadn't shown much fight, but many posters here are overreacting. Blackburn HAVE defender VERY well, nobody can deny that. They haven't been great in attack, but they have at least kept the ball and made us work to get it back. The phrase reality check is apt for this game.
Very disappointed with the management decision to play hoof ball for the last half hour. Lets hope that doesn't contravene the must not criticise rules.
Agree that he's had a [really] poor one, but do you expect all our players to play like the Tottenham game every day?
Well it looks to be a reality check for you. Posters complain our passing football in the first half didn't produce many chances and when we try to exploit the fact we have two big strikers up front, it's also a poor management decision.
Wilbraham's shot the forced the corner? That's one of the top of my head and I am sure there has been more than that.
Awful performance today really, given up watching. I thought we would see a positive reaction from the Man City game, but it has been totally the opposite. What we have achieved so far this season has been remarkable and I wont take anything away from what the players have done for us. But, we have to see more and I also kind of wish we would drop the diamond formation and stick to 4-4-2. Hoilett was Blackburns main threat so we played narrow....? Hoolahan is an impact player, his starting performances have been pretty poor recently and he is the only reason we play the diamond formation. Personally, I'd like to see us start 4-4-2 and only switch to the diamond if 4-4-2 isn't working (or if the opposition pose little threat from out wide). I guess part of that problem is we only have two naturally wide players in Pilks and Bennett really....I'm sure thats a position Lambert will be looking to strengthen. Every transfer window Lambert has made us stronger, and I have faith that he can continue on that trend.
Of course not but you just have to call it as you see it on the day and it started OK but has now become very poor. Management decisions have contributed but individual performances have been poor as well and unfortunately Surman has been the main culprit.
For me, our worst performance of the season. Sunderland was bad, but at least we were playing a team on the top of their form. Here we were playing a divided club which was there for the taking. All year I have been arguing against people who say we are a long ball team, and now I find that we are indeed a long ball team. And a crap long ball team. Judging by this, next season is going to be a long, hard slog.
To be fair they didn't pass it much in the first half either DM. When they did they looked a far better team! It's been non-existent in the second half!
Yeah, it was rubbish. We have a LOT of work to do in the close season. In fact some the performances by the players look like they are already in close season.
