He'l, take Vettel and himself out while being lapped, moments after accidentally killing an on-track protester... Maybe.
I think 12th. I see this weekend being similar to Australia for Mercedes - tyres overheating. With MS already so far back, it's going to be a tough race for him because he'll be in traffic for much of the race which will do even more damage to his tyres. I can see him moving forward a few places, but imo not enough for points.
when a top car starts at the back and comes through the field to do well, they usually do it by going on longer stints and stopping for tyres less (i.e. a 2 stop). with mercedes' tyre wear and this being Bahrain, i can't see him doing that, and will probably need 3 or even 4 stops to get the end competitevly. and he might crash or have his race screwed up by a mechanic
I've gone for 6th. On long runs in practice 2 friday, they weren't destroying their tyres as badly as i would have expected, and the merc has plenty of pace.
Accidentally? Did you see Schumacher's poor lap? Only one member of the team was driving the car. He created the problem himself.
