EnochForEngland, I'm glad we've got a regular match thread thing going on, but there's no love in it. No passion or quirkiness. It doesn't help that we can't get multi-threads at the moment. Any idea when the great wizard's going to wave his magic wand and re-enable them, mods? I'll get back to you on that. I intend to watch our goals again and do a Don Revie dossier on where we've been at fault. I'll do it after the Leicester game and inform you of my findings.
Name a 'keeper (not Kenny since you've said) who is better than Lonergan, who we could afford and would want to come. Also baring in mind other positions are much bigger priority so we can't blow the whole budget on him.
I look forward to it . Also, no idea about the cross-board threads unfortunately, although most of the mods seem to want them back.
He'll still want far more than Bates would ever offer, and if he did come he'd be up with Snoddy if he signed, and we can't do that for a position that's not really a priority.
Agreed but it also doesn't help that are last four games have become more like friendlies and pre-season 2012/13 run outs without the first team squad in place... A real strange situation knowing that several players are not good enough and won't be here next season.
That point for Cardiff kills off the mathematical chance for Hull, anything but a win for Boro and they are staying put next season too, wonder if they will announce their delayed results now...
Boro had better finish ahead of Hull, otherwise their fans on here will be intolerable banging on about how they're Yorkshire's number one. Hoping Cardiff go up because I'm bored of them now (27 years since we last beat them), and West Ham, Blackpool and Birmingham are all beatable teams for next season. Former two will be great away days too if the ones this season are anything to go by.
I want West Ham to stay down, partly because of Sam and I think they will be an easier team next season, let's get shot of Blackpool or Cardiff, a good point against a bit of a bogey team today so I too would be glad to see them leave this division or Blackpool so there are no lasting memories next season when we are on our unbeaten run and the press start reminding us all what happened when we last played Blackpool at home. I am predicting a flying start for us next season, along the lines of when we had wonkey eyes and we caught the -15 point gap up.
went to the game yesterday, from setting off at half 5 and not getting ome till half 7 i have to say, that if it wasnt for becchios goal, we wouldnt have registered a shot on target! The goal we conceded should have been cleared by lonergan, but i guess his mind was on his holidays. He produced 3 top class saves in the second half. Me: I was hard, i was a carer for my mate, and we sat litterally a yard from the cardiff fans! going mental when we scored! got some rayte abuse! Loved it... would def do it again! Overall - for 58 quid, i witnessed 1 shot at goal, hopefully next season we will see some spends. and by the time we kick off in august, teams will fear us straight away PS. Was talking to an everton scout on tuesday night. and he was saying Moyes wants snoddy! And that he was coming to assess him "again"
Let's hope Snoddy gives us till xmas at least to assess whether or not we'll be going up. The incomings over the next few weeks should give us an indication of future intentions.
I've not got loads of spare time to put passion and love into it. I just do it for fun and for the members on this site, feel free to contribute ideas and i'll add them in if they seem good.
