I too am deadly to all things plant-like. I have a female friend who has an allotment so I do some digging to help out, but whenever I try to plant anything all that comes up is a little sign saying "You're having a laugh"
I play the guitar and indulge in a little amateur thesping. I've never got into XBox stuff, but I do play online poker a bit.
I had some tropical fish in an earlier life but now I'm just a retirement home for my daughter's superannuated goldfish. It's about 15, been blind for the last 5 years, but flatly refuses to snuff it.
I'm getting deja vu writing this, I'm sure we've done this before?

Involved in kids football myself, run an under 13's team. The hardest part is sedating the parents, who all think their little soldier is the next Messi the reality is the only Messi their likely to achieve is after 15 pints and a lack of toilets in their later teens.

Its good fun, testing. But i've installed play the ball simple, move and create space for yourself and no cheating i.e diving, feigning injury.

I'm a bit more historical based than him - nineteenth century stuff mainly.
Can't say I really have one favourite author. We're encouraged at undergraduate level to read a wide range of different authors and styles, so I like a bit of everything.
If I had to pick 3 favourites that come to mind, I'd say: Shakespeare (he's actually very easy when you've read a couple) Dickens and Oscar Wilde.
For my dissertation I'm looking at more obscure texts, though, which I won't bore you with.

I'm still at school doing my A-levels, I'm studying Media and Travel and Tourism. I'll finish them both within a couple of months so will start to look for a full time job. I'm also going to start to learn to play the keyboard when I get one for my 18th - which is in just over a months time <ok> I also like listening to music - so hopefully soon I'll like to play and maybe write it too. I like to play a bit of COD on the PS3 just like most other teenagers as well :D
