They've given us two quality players and in AOC's case i think we kind of ripped them off. I like the club and they go about their business the proper way with a great academy and I like their manager too. Hope they keep hold of their new wave of talents such as shaw (who we are monitoring) and calum chambers too as that's the least they deserve.

How did we rip them off for AOC? We paid 15 million for him :p hardly a steal. But yeah, it would be nice to see them succeed in the prem and they're likely to as they're run well and have money to spend when they go up.

From a Saints point of view we were all happy with the business done by our chairman - Nicola Cortese, he's a very shrewed and successful businessman and would have gotten AOC's worth. As for our academy we've recently spent 15m on developing into a 'class 1' academy which is rather exiting from our point of view! However I am a bit upset, with AOC on the right and Lallana on left I fully believe we'd have walked the league this year <ok> I also believe however at this point last year Lallana would have been the more valuable player <ok>

Give it a year or 2 and he'll be 30 million tops. I consider 15 million (it was actually 12 million, but never mind) a bargain for a prospect as talented as AOC.

  8. I like Southampton - hope they stay up next year and replace the likes of Stoke.

He's got the ability to be worth 40 million plus when he gets more experience. We ripped you off.

I don't like Southampton, i'm glad Reading are coming back up, but i'd honestly rather have West Ham back instead of Southampton, with Blackpool too, via the playoffs..

I don't like the manager, the tactics, the fans, the stadium etc. Mostly the manager. Smug so and so.

Yes, he's got the ability too. Michael Owen had the ability to be the best striker in the world but it didn't happen due to injuries. Anything can happen and at the time, the money we got for AOC was pretty good.

I wouldn't be so sure on that, how do you know how he's going to develop? I'd like more than anyone for this to be the case, but he's only played a few games for us (granted he's done quite well) and hasn't really had much of a run in the team, so to say he's gonna be worth £30 million within 2 years is a bit of a brave assumption. I just don't want us to overhype the kid and actually let him develop before expecting too much of him (probably the reason Wenger isn't playing him as much as most Arsenal fans would like).

And as for the fee, it's £12 million rising to £15 million.

I'm a bit confused by this. You don't like Southampton's tactics and would rather see West Ham up, yet West Ham play under Sam Allardyce the king of anti-football. I also don't really see what's wrong with the stadium, it's a really nice ground and the manager seems more like a nice guy than a smug arsehole <confused>.

West ham are a big club with a big fanbase. Allardyce will get the chop the moment they go up, so there's no issues there. Southampton are a relic, from a bygone era. NA seems too far up his own arse for my liking.

This "Kyle?" lad seems to be one chromosome short of a full set so ignoring his comments (actually, I'll give you a brief comment. You're an idiot and shouldn't be allowed to have opinions) it's nice to see Arsenal fans giving us some respect - and credit for AOC and Walcott, not something you'll see reading a newspaper or watching Match of the Day. I like you guys, been to your ground a couple of times and it's pretty nice. I suggest a big 60,360 strong (one short because Kyle? isn't allowed in) group hug when (if) we play you next season.
