Give me Drogba over Young anyday. What kind of player cheats to get a relegation threatened team sent off and dive for a penalty? What kind of player cheats against the team that made him? Drogba's antics were gamesmanship nothing more, Young was full on cheating yet the media say nothing
its a conspiracy!!! the media hate us!!!!! and us!!! get over yer self there's no ****ing media bias, it's you who are bias yourself, ask any fan outside the top 4 or whatever the **** it is now and they'll agree
You can't say some diving is better than other diving basing it all on the fact that one's your player and the other isn't they're both as bad as each other
There is that issue. Given the recent issues with Muamba and Morosini, faking an injury is insensitive to those who've suffered serious issues, or even died from serious issues. The thing with Drogba though was that it was so obvious he was faking it, anyone could tell the difference. He's not the best actor in football.
I hate this ****, but I agree to this point I don't hate you really skin Hope to see you in the Prem next season so we can meet up for a pint. No knives though
There is a media bias, surely you've noticed that of the promoted clubs, Swansea are the darlings, you're portrayed as the money wasters. Thats bias.
Yeah, but refs will be under pressure to stop the game instantly if someone is lying prone. He's a clever ****
It's not bias, the media don't congregate in a hall a la witches and decided who to hate and not hate. There's a reason us and Swansea are portrayed like that, cos they're doing much better than us
Not the case at all. There is massive difference between hypochondria and feigning contact altogether i.e diving. One is gamesmanship the other is out and out cheating. I never thought what Busquets did to Motta was cheating I just thought it was bad sportsmanship, particular to an ex-teammate. Henry for me, is an out and out cheat, as is Suarez, someone like Ronaldo or Drogba are just clever players. The culture abroad is different, Gary Neville was spot on as per, when you are playing in Europe the rules are different and you have to give yourself and your teammates any time possible to recover. In truth what Drogba did was no different to what Al-Habsi did on Monday.
Look at the teams around you, they seem to be given a favourable light compared to you as well. I don't know if it's because the stench of Briatore still lingers over you, but you're not popular.
But Drogba did dive? that's the reason he's been slandered! God darnit, i do wish you'd warned me in advance. So, do Bolton, Blackburn and Wolves get more credit than us? really?
No it's not, he exaggerated contact and went to ground to easily for a man that weighs 16 stone and is 6 ft 3. That's the reason he is being slandered
The media is "anti foreign managers." When Wenger lost a few matches, his position was questioned. When Arry took Spurs for a dive down and Ferguson losing a few matches and playing the most boring football (long balls for the wingers to run and whacking the ball into the penalty area hoping for a "second" ball to scramble in) nothing was ever raised.
Rose tinted glasses mate, you should get them checked. He worse that Young in my opinion and Young is a **** too
It's not at all. I defended Ronaldo so I'll defend Drogba. If Drogba was English he wouldn't get near the amount of criticism he gets. Heskey never got criticised for doing it, not once
