    And bale is auditioning for barcelona instead of playing for the spuds. He is trying to dive as good as possible <ok>

    Wow I didn't think much of the criticism of talksport, but I just saw this story come up on the BBC Website:

    "Arsenal are on the trail of one of the hottest prospects in Italian football - who has been dubbed the 'new Gareth Bale'. Moroccan full-back Acharaf Laazar, 20, plays for Serie B side Verase and is apparently on Arsene Wenger's radar. Full story: talkSPORT"

    They really are having a go aren't they? Quite pathetic really. They probably read this topic and threw a hissy fit.

    The BBC also had this rag-stain story:

    "Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has given Robin van Persie a 72-hour deadline to resolve his future and sign a new deal with the Gunners. Full story: Daily Mirror"

    Which doesn't sound like something Wenger would do at all.

    Wenger is normally pretty relaxed when it comes to contract issues, he's not one to impose deadlines. It's probably a load of crap. And why would we be after a fullback? We signed 2 in the summer, we're pretty set at the position. Talksport should try harder.

    He's not too bad, did a nice job against marseille in the 1st leg, was very adventurous. He'll grow into the role, plus we have Coquelin, who's versatlie enough to cover at fullback.
