Sorry about the pie comment is was of course meant to be a joke. Talking of pies, can you believe, we get our pies from somewhere up North, not sure exactly where, but they are brought down in a van on matchdays. I guess our lovely Delia Smith is just a tad too busy to make them herself, even if she did she'd probably cheat! Tough result for you against Fulham, they are a very good team, but even so you were unlucky to lose. We on the other hand were crap against Blackburn, sorry about that. You're still at the races though, keep believing. ILD OTBC
I`m doing this useing the On Screen Keyboard as my normal keyboard is not talking to my computer i think they have had fallout so my finger is starting to cramp up so don`t worry about the pies gag we also make jokes about them like what do you call 3 meat pies on a stick, a wigan kebab. get it Ye your right fulham was a tough game but with Newcastle next we will have to be on our metal again as we say in wigan.thing ilovedelie is the game you had against Blackburn can`t de said as crap because you don`t become a bad team over night not the way Norwich play and your in 13th place so your still at the races
Half time and 4-0 up against Newcastle What a great performance! Keep it up and the match against Blackburn won't matter!! FULLTIME - WIGAN 4 NEWCASTLE 0. 37 points and moving up-up-up!
Great win today. I suggest you are a draw from safety, but with Blackburn and Wolves you will hope for 4-6 points. With the way you are playing, you must be asking what happened for the first 28 games. Look forward to seeing how you fare next season!!
Another great performance, what another 3/4 points and you stay up on your own merits. enjoyed watching you at the Cottage last week,as did all the Fulham fans around me.
Hell there's no stopping you boys! 4-0 against Newcastle, I'm just loving this run of yours, Roberto Houdini strikes again.............
Ok DragonPhillJack how yer do`in after all that's bean said about Roberto and there as it seam that his idea`rs are good unn`s but what a game you had 8 goals.wow
The game against Blackburn is going to be one of the biggest games for us so far this season and if we win then the game against Wolves no disrespect to Wolves(i know they will give us a game) will be party time and knowing that we will be playing in the best league in the world will make it all the better.
Just want to say, I'm lovin it, what a run you're on at the moment, can't see you falling back now. Roberto Martinez is a brilliant manager, your owner knows that, and I just hope there's continued loyalty from both sides. Can you hang onto Martinez? is the biggest problem you guys have, as I think he could easily walk into quite a few Premiership clubs and be a success. I'm glad we'll be playing you again next year, and hopefully the powers that be will lets us play at a reasonable time instead of the ridiculous 4pm kickoffs. ILD OTBC
Ye your right what you say ilovedelia butt as you know the premier is a fickle place one minuet your up the next your down and nobody likes you. Thats the the problem Martinez has. Its loyalties that count and that is what he as he could have left earlier in the season but he stayed with us despite the crap that was thrown at him.
I don't think Bobby is finished with us yet. He's just got a team playing his system successfully, I think he wants at least another season to see what he can achieve with it. Blackburn is such a huge game. Lots of Wiganers in amongst the Blackburn fans, makes a change for us to be doing that. No matter how much I think about it I can't call the game. Just hope we give a good account of ourselves. If we play like we did against Newcastle they've no chance. If we play like we did against Swansea then we've no chance!
Good luck tomorrow, it's in your hands. "fromthestands" 55 posts on here now, you're certainly gaining some fans!! Nose bleed ok????? ILD OTBC
Ye your right i think im going to need a lie down soon but ye. Like i always say all are welcome on here
Well done Wigan. It was a gritty performance and at times it seemed that the chances would not be taken, but on a cold and windy night at Ewood Park, the Lactics did it in the end. What a great end of season run!!! Well done Martinez!!
6 weeks or so ago you would bet your life that wigan would be relegated, martinez has done an unbelievable job in changing things around and leading wigan to safety....absolutely fantastic and even better than the nail biting end of season last year.....everybody had wigan dead and buried 6 weeks ago. how wrong we all were....
