    Morning Lads

I'm going to SJP for a guided tour. I have been before and was reluctant to go today but my mate has free tickets and sometimes you need to do something productive on your day off. Due to my recent poor form on online poker I now find myself no longer productive. I enjoyed the tour 2 seasons ago but don't think much has changed since then hence my reluctance to go this time.

Have any of you been on the tour before? If so what did you make of it?

There may be a slim/no possibility of bumping into Mike Ashley while i'm there. Does anyone have any questions/comments they would like me to pass onto MA?

I think he should put something in all future contracts that players must wave at least 23 times a season. <doh>

Quite jealous, been to SJP many many times but never done the tour.

Went a few weeks ago, great tour. Special moments definitely have to be getting my photo taken in SBR's seat, home team changing room and the tunnel/dugout.

I can remember going in Primary School...

We went into the Changing Rooms, all the young girls touching were Ginola sat and saying 'I'm not washing my hand ever again as it has touched David Ginola's bum'...

    LOL

    £20 quid I think.

Im sure its cheaper for members.

Also, you can get them as part of those 'experience day' packs. For around about a tenner I think.

Did you get a shearer-esque chant of "Toonpents! Toonpents! Toonpents!" and run away with one arm held aloft?

If not you can have one now, "Toonpents! Toonpents! Toonpents!"

I was booked on one the day after the pre-season friendly with Valencia. The wife bought it for me as a present and I went out with a few guys until close to 1 in the morning. We ended up going back to my room in the Malmaison and abusing room service after one of them nipped home to grab his PS3.

9am and the room is covered in empty bottles, random left over sandwiches and I physically couldn't move to tell the cleaners to let me die in peace.

I went last season. It was the lunchtime of our game against Derby. When we were taken into the home changing room all the lad's kit was laid out waiting for them... I was in complete awe of the place!! I was gonna try on Jose's boots, but then quickly remembered I was in no way worthy... plus I probably would have been chucked out! Got my photo taken with Cath the tea lady too! Phenomenal!!!!!!

    Cheers, have some back!

Did you and all your pals club together to play at the end of season?

I was thinking about doing that this year, if St James' were offering it.

**You must spread it round... Pah.

aye thats the one, we picked a weekday so that we got the full 90 mins

quality day like, they treated you like a proper player

warm welcome, 15 minute warm up on the pitch before hand, led out of the tunnel with the ref and linesman, really professional service and well worth the money

I went in December 2006 and loved it! With me living in Portsmouth it's difficult to get up there, but when my Dad and Step-Mum had their wedding reception at Lumley Castle, they took me to SJP for the day :D

Surprised Ashley hasn't opened up the possibilities of doing the 'Llambias walk' across the pitch.

    Note: Ladies go free.
