Apparently rejected a new deal at Derby, would you like to see him at the KC, Pearson likes him and apparently he fancies playing for Hull, where would he fit in our squad with Mckenna, Evans and Cairney all fighting for a starting place in the centre of midfield?
I like Green and would be chuffed if we brought him in. McKenna is knocking on a bit and it showed back end of the season. A quality addition like Green certainly wouldn't go amiss to add some depth to the squad. How old is Green ?
29 if I'm not mistaken, not too old like Kenna and Dawson but old enough to have the determiation and experience to push a club to promotion
So, cover for Koren, and the 4th variation we need for the 2 'holding' roles so that there's a pick and mix element to it to suit the opposition?
Except Green doesn't score many, not this season anyway! (1 to his name). I thought he was a great player at Donny though, so he'll do for me.
That'd be lovely. I don't know where I got this idea he plays like McKenna - it might just be the common first name
Ive posted before that he's best mates with the guy who cuts my hair. He tells me all kind of stories about Green and he is on 12k at Derby. If he's turning down a deal there you'd expect either they're offering him lower terms in a new deal (likely) or he thinks he can get more than that elesewhere (unlikely). He was all set to sign for Stoke, fee and personal terms agreed the lot, just before he got his serious injury. Therefore it might be a reasonable assumption to suggest they'll go in for him again.
