    What does it matter?

Seriously, how low down the feeble pointscoring scale do we want to dredge?

I really dislike that woman. I felt it was completely out of order what she did to Mulgrew and his wife all over that absurd twitter thing again.

What are you on about? I dredge so many forums it's hard to keep track, so which forum am I supposed to have visited to "score points" against your team - whichever it happens to be - as I have no idea which team you support, in fact I don't even recall ever talking to you before this. If you are so confident in my "point scoring" activities perhaps you could point out the posts or threads where I have tried to score these mythical "points"?

Besides, back to the original point which you are keen to discuss, what difference does it make what Charlie Mulgrew did with his own child? No harm was done and I dare say he's learned a lesson. I don't know because I was not there so I don't know exactly what the circumstances were and I don't particulary care, I simply made the observation that this subject is unworthy of debate.

    (a) Okay I misread your post, so anyhoo, about me point scoring against Rangers, any update on that?

    (b) Sorry I did not realise the Celtic board was your personal Fiefdom, but at least we have evidence of your own hypocrisy. You can petty point score but anyone else who (you think) does the same is a "cock"?

    Seems fair, seems fair.

Yep, that's why I usually stick to sarcasm, some people are just beyond help. This poor fella probably thinks all OF fans are full of spite and vinegar towards each other, if we have a wee "in joke" going on between us he sees it as "Point Scoring" - yet here he is clearly not at the wum - arguing that Charlie Mulgrew is not wise for leaving his child in a car.

I must admit i've seen some amount of trivial cack on these boards but right now I can't recall anything half as pointless.

I remember, not that long ago, when I joined this forum with the expectation that I would be reading about and discussing football ... how naive of me ... and sadly, how corrupt I have become in deserting my noble intentions. Ah well - Así es la vida.

Ach I know, it's quite sad actually. I don't actually recall if we did ever speak seriously about football on the old Not606 either, or the BBC for that matter. It was all crap like this. I'm the same as you, I first joined BBC about 6 or 7 years ago, most of the Gers fans on here - and a few Tims too, as well as ER, go back a long way, most of it is funny and light hearted and sometime you let your guard down and it could get quite nasty.

I've become accustomed to the humour and the arguments, I love a good old debate, but very little of what's on here is for the football purist who wants to discuss tactics and team selections. I know for one that I seldom write topics on purely football matters any more. Just habit, but it's fun sometimes.

Wow - 6 or 7 years is a long time so you must know each other well! I think one does get the sense of who is ok on here (and if I'm not struck down by lightening -that includes some of the Rangers fans!) and as you say it's fun sometimes. Not sure how long I'll stick around though -it does seem to go around in circles - though as a Celtic fan what right have I to complain!

I think we have to give a wee bit of sympathy to the h.n supporters, they are very tense at the moment, even though they don't
walk away it seems every h.n with money has not only walked away but ran away. These poor unfortunate posters are afraid to
get p in the afternoon in case they hear their club has already been liquidated. They are afraid that as they have no Rangers they
won't be able to post their bile on any football forum. Imagine how could any idiot start talking about a baby on a football forum, that
is really off subject. I suppose for these unfortunate posters, better to stay off football, as Rangers may become topical.

If you read the thread you would see that it is in fact an Aberdeen fan that started talking about the baby.

To summarise your initial post you are suggesting Mulgrew should be punished for having more wisdom than his manager because he tried to downplay a situation in the media. How do you expect people to reply to your provocative nonsense?

What is a h.n? Are you Newgod in disguise?

Surely not? I thought it was only we "Bigot Brothers" or "Old Scum" who would stoop so low or "point score" if you prefer?

No way do I believe those salt of the earth non OF fans would say such a thing, it must be some mistake.

Probably a Rangers fan in disguise, that must be it, there's no other explanation.

Poor Moses, living in the past. He thinks he is modern with the name Moses. Moses wouldn't understand because historically Moses
has never been a team player. On further checking, I should have been aware this was another example of the h.n media questioning
in a different way than other players. Crock Davis, makes a change for a Rangers player to be crocked himself rather than crockinng
an opponent, wasn't queried about the Rangers owner when he was interviewed. I am disappointed with myself for not realizing what
had happened and how the media never miss an opportunity.

That's a great song. My older brother loved Jethro Tull.
