Not being funny, but i think we have been called worse things in our life. The main crux about Stephen Fry (who i happen to think is bloody fantastic) is why refer to us? it was a case of why try to stir anything up and ruin a friendlyish rivalry with pathetic comments.
as far as i'm concerned, the comments were him just messing about - they weren't tarnishing your club, hence why none of us can fathom where the ludicrous over reaction has come from. he didn't stir anything up - it was your reaction to it which stirred things

Excellent stuff, JWM! I thought Fry's comment about us was mildly amusing at best, but at the end of the day it's the Budgies' video and they can put in it what they want, I'd go further and say that he could have called us "Those ****s down the road", (or more appropriately, "Those ****s whose shadow we are forever in"), I wouldn't have given a flying one! He's a Budgie, he can say what he likes about us, and we won't give a ****!
Wtf - I've spent all afternoon in hospital trying to ease my troubles, come home and have over 200 posts of two or three ducking binners saying the same thing over and over again! They're supposed to be at work, all I can think is they are preventing someone more able from having a job! Wow! What ducking children they are!
