As the season stutters to the finishing line a few simple questions for everyone to ponder over and give there opinions. Player of the season Performance of the season Goal of the season Most improved player Thought he would do better For me: player of the season - can't separate Bardsley and Sess. Bardsley is everything you want in a footballer, brilliant attitude ,strong, fearsome, would run through a brick wall for benefit of the team, and in my opinion a very good fullback.I would even go on to say should be club captain. With Sess it is the difference he makes to the team, would be the best signing in the summer if we could get him to sign a new longer contract. Permance of the season: away to Man city, only team to score 3 at Etihad, first to take any points of City at home, 3 very good goals. Goal of the season : tricky in a season where we have scored many very good goals but I will say Vaughns Against Blackburn not only a very sweet strike but the importance of the goal and the start of the MON bandwagon. Most improved player: Colback, always thought he was a bit of a lightweight but has proved me wrong with many good performances, has never let the team down. Thought he would do better : for me it has to be Wickham I know he is only a boy and he has had his injury problems but I just don't see a prem footballer in him, hope I am wrong but can see him on loan in the championship next year and never coming back. That's my thoughts , what do you think ??????
Player of the season - Sess with McLean as young player of the year. Performance of the season - Man City closely followed by Norwich at home for different reasons Goal of the season - Sessengon against Norwich, class move from start to finish. Most improved player - Colback, now Mr Consistent and worthy of his place most weeks Thought he would do better - Craig Gardner, I won't criticise him for not scoring goals as he's often playing a deeper role than he did at Birmingham but his performances at times have been awful.
Player of the season...............................................Sess Performance of the season.......................................Hard one will come back Goal of the season................................................. Ji, Man City, not the best but the most memorable Most improved player...............................................Hard one again but probably Catts for his leadership and control Thought he would do better......................................Wickham
Player - Sess - most skillful player I've seen for us Performance - Home to Man City - makeshift team giving their all against league leaders and a last kick of the game winning goal Goal - Larson v Blackburn - making sure MON started with a win Most Improved - Colback/Mignolet - although both more continuous improvement Thought he would do better - Wickham - looked promising until got injured against Man U then not much since
Player: Sess Young Player: Mclean Performance: Man City at home. half the team out injured, busting their gut all game and still find the energy for one last run up the pitch and score the winner Most improved: Cattermole or Colback Thought he would do better (is this an "award"?) : Vaughan/Gardner
Player of the season: Sessegnon (agree about Bardo but Sess just shades it for me) Performance of the season: Man City (A) Goal of the season: Campbell V Norwich Most improved player: Bardsley Thought he would do better: Wickham
Player: Sess Young Player: Mclean Performance: Man City at home. just for the winner Most improved: Colback Thought he would do better wickham
Player of the season - Sessegnon, its been a privilege to have him here Young Player - McClean. When we forgot what a left winger was he burst onto the scene like superhero Performance - Man City at home easily Goal of the season. Larsson freekick in mons first game purely for the significance of it. It could have turned out very differently if that hadn't gone in. Most Improved - Would have to give it to McClean considering no one had heard of him at the start of the season and now he's the name on everyone's lips. Thought would do better - Wickham Ill add a new one that i suspect all answers may be the same; Villain of the year. Congratulations Steve Bruce Debate/topic of the year - BIBS vs BOBS
Player of the season - Sessegnon, different class Young Player - McClean Performance - Man City at home Goal of the season. Campbell vs Norwich. Most Improved - Killgalon from nowhere to first 11 starter Thought would do better - Bendtner
shiney, I was going through your answers in my head then scrolled down to see they were almost identical (Sess for me over Bardhino, though I also love the guy). I equally like Larrson's purrfect injury time strike against Blackburn to clinch the game and our new dawn under MON - loved the reaction of Marty too, must have been 4 foot off the ground, so it just clinches it for me, it was a wild ride moment
Player of the season sessegnon Performance of the season Man city (both) Goal of the season Larsson v Blackburn....for the importance Most improved player pass Thought he would do better Bruce
Player of the season............................no suprise same as everyone else Performance of the season...................Fa cup against Arsenal, gave everyone that dream Goal of the season.............................Larsson v Liverpool Most improved player..........................Kilgallon Thought he would do better.................Gardner, thought he would have been the best buy of the transfer window......no place for Elmo, didn't expect owt at all from him.
Player of the season: Sessengon <3 Performance of the season: Man City Away Goal of the season: Gardner vs Swansea (I don't think there's much difference between that and Crouch's vs City) Most improved: Sess. Under MON he's been a lot better Though he would do better: Gardner. 3 goals (maybe 4) from a 'goal scoring midfielder' isn't a good return and his general play is poor also
