Err what about Jackie? Had all of Trundle's skill but had end product as well. Apologies if you are you too young to have seen him...
Agreed about Jacki - he was magnificent to watch. What a shame that his tenure was short. Talking of skill, not much beats the "Walshie shuffle"... the number of times I saw that as a kid and it never failed to amaze me. Even Mark Gavin, on his day, had some skill and could ouwit any full back..

All those spaces need to be filled and filled with QUALITY, i trust derek to fill them correctly
Me and my mates were always trying to do the Walshy shuffle in the playground. Never quite mastered it but we did manage to recreate Jacki's drinking...
If we stay up the only players worth a place in our 1st 11 are : Foster, Fonts, Skuse, Elliot, Cisse, Stead and Adomah - if he can sort his head out. Wouldn't give tuppence for the rest.
Cor blimeyyyy guvnor that is a bit harsh. I think Bolasie could be a better player than albert. There are a few others that are good enough.
He did say first eleven, that's surprisingly good going really. I disagree of course as Skuse, Elliot and Cisse can't all work in the same eleven. Not to mention ol' Gherkin has done more than enough to earn the number 1 for the first game of next season, for me at least. If Redprintt did actually mean that those are the only players worth retaining, then he is incredibly harsh. Pearson has arguably done as much as anyone in keeping us up and Pitman, Bolasie and several others are all valuable squad members.
