Not that i want to enter this little fracar, but Alan Brazil IS still employed on match days for hospitality packages, so his veiws are still attached to the club
But do you not realise, however 'throw away' your club is condoning this sort of attitude by having in their video. I'm sure we know from our time on herewith certain issues, however 'throw away' a comment it can be could lead to something bigger! I feel your club could have used a bit more common sense, and not include it and stayed a bit more professional! Unfortunately it comes across to me and other Ipswich fans that the old chips on the shoulders issue is rearing its ugly head again with your club.
But when he is on Talk sport he is not, and Talksport is not an endorsed Ipswich town product or video!
i'd love to know how this could lead to something bigger!! what next? city fans dressing ducks up in ipswich replica shirts and shooting them for fun? you are talking total crap guru. nobody should care from outside norwich fans what the content of that video was - there was barely any content in it!
It was just a joke by Stephen Fry nothing wrong with mentioning the rivals at it relates to the football club and the fans.
guru, do ipswich fans not sing anti-norwich songs at their games, even though we don't compete in the same division? that could be construed as 'having a chip on your shoulder'. nobody thinks it cos its what football fans do - they talk about their rivals and take the piss. honestly, this is such a storm in a Twinings tea-cup
Thats a ****ing winner! Next years video sorted, can even see the cartridges with a City badge on them, being chambered by Holty & co.
we should all be arguing about how rubbish the video was, not about ipswich ducks!! it was quite a good idea but they executed it (not the ducks) very poorly and it'll be interesting to see how many fans create their own video based on this one
But if he still is attached to the club in some form, even this ambassador role, his veiws must still be seen as to come from the club? Its loke calling your boss a twat at 5.31pm & not expecting any **** the next morning!
I was right, as always. Credit to your club apologizing for being ****ers initially. Certain football clubs would never show even that amount of humility and respect towards the opinions of fans.
How pathetic! His views on the radio have nothing to do with the views of Ipswich Town and to suggest that they do makes you look rather foolish. To follow your logic then, does Norwich City officially support Waitrose?
Superman, But you didn't actually answer the question. Why make the comment? at what point did stephen fry think ok i think a cheap crack at ipswich will sell a couple more shirts? If it was a promotional video for the club to match tickets, then yes i would probably expect some reference but to me it was just a cheap, childish stunt that makes your club look silly.
Hardly. Ipswich are Norwich's rivals therefore they are relate. It's no different to rival fans having a crack at their rivals team.
