my team: ----------------Szczesny---------------- --Sagna--Koscielny--Vermaelen--Santos-- -----------Song-------Ramsey----------- ----------------Rosicky------------------ -Walcott-----------------------Gervinho- ---------------v.Persie------------------ Drogba probably won't play so JD won't be needed. Vermaelen and Koscielny both have the strength, pace and positioning sense to deal with an out-of-form torres. Big person to watch out for IMO is Mata, but Song should be able to deal with him.
Didier is a cheating ****. Thought he was a bloody disgrace yesterday. Even then, his acting was not as bad yesterday as, it was when he played Napoli. He is such a great player and I have not feared a player as much as I have feared Drogba every time we faced him. But, why oh why, does he get up to such antics? please log in to view this image
Is even going to play? Three games in the space of six days, and the visit to the Nou Camp on Tuesday? Some of the Chelsea fans I talked to, think Torres will start. Anyway, like I said previously somewhere, when Drogba last came to the Emirates we dealt with him, and just need a repeat of that performance.
Fortunatly we will only have the face th biggest flop in the history of football: Torres. Torres is a spent force and holds no fear for his. His touch is poor. He has lost pace and he is weak. And he cant finish. He is an all round poor player. If he scores against us I will eat my hat.
Good honesty. Although I dont think chelsea fans are in denial. Admirable how they have got behind torres to try and help him regain his form. I dont think it is a form issue though. he just isnt good anymore.
A player that's never won the CL, he was cheated of lifting that trophy 3 years ago and felt the need to get revenge last night. I don't condone diving by any means, but he had a pass last night from every single Chelsea fan to play those bastards at their own game .
We'll win if we don't play Ramsey and Gervinho, but Wenger will probably pick them both = lose. Coquelin and Oxo should come into the team for Arteta and Benayoun. I would put Walcott on the left because Ashley Cole knows him too well.
I find it interesting that despite us loosing to Wigan and Chelsea beating Barcelona ALL the bookies have us as favourite to win this game.
There is some severe fate tempting going on here! I think he's been playing really well except for the crucial matter of scoring. And that seems to be improving, so you could be regretting your post above.
I don't think torres has been that bad, his overall play has been decent, he just can't seem to put the ball in the net.
I hope you're right, Drogba has got an unbelievable record against us. Although we did keep him quiet last time around. Personally, I reckon Kos and TV have got enough to keep Torres firing blanks all afternoon
