Plenty were already thinking about it before today's confirmation that we'll be charged £46 because it has been turned into a Category A game as West Ham's Premier status could depend on the result.

As you'll see at http://salutsunderland.com/2011/03/the-west-ham-rip-off-to-boycott-or-not-to-boycott/ some Durham branch members are even planning to go on the trip as planned, with it being the last game of the season, but not to buy tickets.

The London branch had some calls for a boycott but decided it was simply a matter of personal choice, especially since it's a chance for exiles in the south to get to see the Lads.

But wouldn't it be great if the Sullivan/Gold muggers looked out on an empty away end on May 22 - and then saw their team go down?

Truth is like it or not they know we will sell out, last game of season, weekend in London. I wont be there because I cant afford the away games at normal prices but it is a big piss take.

Saw this the other day and i was totally shocked.

Charging that much money is ridiculous and being London based i was planning to go to this fixture but now i am not so sure.

However, seeing west ham get relegated dramatically on the last day of the season would be funny.

I'm not traipsing to the arse-end of London to pay 46 of my hard-earned quids to a pair of itinerant porn merchants. As I'm based in the SE it would ordinarily be a match for me, but not at any price...

Tough choice. I wouldn't pay it, but then again I might to watch West Ham be relegated. Never really liked them.

I've just bought me train tickets last week! £60 for the train & £46 for a ticket, that's too much math for me to work out but i'm going to have to start stealing scrap soon to afford to go and watch the lad's away.

We should introduce a policy of charging away fans whatever their club charges our fans for tickets. If they respect us then we will respect them.

Clubs like West Ham (£46 to visit Upton Park which is a **** hole) take advantage knowing that we take a good following wherever we go, and will do whatever the prices. Unfortunately a boycott will never happen, but I would love to (not) see it.
