I've got the original artwork from the designs submitted for the new players entrance at LR. Ex warnock connection dropped it all off at my office and now adorns our reception. I'll try and get it posted up on here if my tech-monkey can do it for me.
The artwork sits central to the content so as it reacts to browser width in a fluid way ... if we design the banner 1920 then of course on narrow browsers not all the content will be visible
Well, we know something about dimensions and resolution (see Jason Polenta's post on page 2 for advice). I'd say those interested in submitting artworks should do so by end of May / mid June. We'll display all entries and get someone to run a poll for a couple of weeks. Top two voted for then fight it out on final poll and majority decides our banner choice (that way most will have gone for the image picked). Those lacking design skills or not submitting a banner design can post suggestions for inclusions but designers not obliged to listen! How's that? Fair means to an end?
Why don't we get one of the pictures of Barcelona training at Loftus Road? We can then manipulate it so that they are wearing our home kit, and the banner will be a futuristic vision of where we will be in four years.
Looks mighty fine to me as long as our QPR photoshop wizards can run their magic wand over the picture and get rid of the EEJIT in the middle?
I think we should revel in our history, a montage of the favourite sons of Loftus Road would get my vote. Stanley, Sir Les etc... and why not Mike Keen?
Have a look at Liverpools, similar idea. Just says they haven't won much for years to me, but of course I'd go for anything with Stan in. And a kitten.
it means similar that when you watch your widescreen porn on your amstrad you may only get to see the cock and balls ... and not the other bloke you would have to scroll across and that may take you mind off the subject ... remember moisture and motherboards don't mix
