Probably none, sends a message though doesn't it. Before you access a photograph of a kit you know won't be released for 12 hours and posting it to every Norwich fan on twitter you should maybe think about it. All it shows to me is that the club works incredibly hard on these things and when they are messed up, they don't take kindly to it. This is NCFC 2.0, the "Don't **** with us" era.
Accessing source code is not hacking. If the company responsible for the site hasn't protected there images, which this company hadn't, and they can be accessed straight from a browser which these images could then it isn't hacking! Don't want your launch ruined, properly protect your site!
So the club will take a civil action against the kid, but admit that he hasn't damaged the club in any way (by asking for no damages)? Do you honestly think that the club will do this (bearing in mind that the club have said that it will be settled by a meeting between the club and the kid)?
It must be great living in your parralel universe! This makes the club look mean spirited towards one of its fans! the kid meant no harm and was merely sharing the image with some of his mates. He didn't do it for any financial gain. Big Fail
The sad fact is that one of your fans probably did the same thing for your kit launch. But nobody noticed.
Lol I'm right and you know it! There no monetary value in any of your intellectual property. That must be guttering.
Your video was **** and you copied us by having a kit launch video in the first place, so Warky I suggest you jog back to miserable little forum with your tail between your legs, because you've lost this one.
Having read the statement from the club, I think they should take action against the marketing company that were lazy with their coding and perhaps next time they should use asp.net and use tighter controls. Seems he did a bit more than just copy and paste though...still the club have apologised for their handling of the incident. I think we can put this to bed now.....
Please don't get Beefy going again, he'd already built a (now redundant) gallows on Norwich Marketplace ready for this kid! please log in to view this image
I'd like to see the kid spin this around and now sue the club for the mental anguish/distress that this will have caused him, possibly throw a harassment in there too!
