Well, it appears that another referee has been caught telling porkies, this time about our manager. Not only did his lie mean that our manager was unavailable to make vital decisions for 45 minutes of a potential powderkeg Old Firm game at Ibrox, it has cost the SFA and Celtic a fortune in legal bills as well as being an utter waste of time. IF it does turn out to be true then this referee must be sacked. Can anyone think of any other country where a Head of Refereeing has been sacked for bigotry and two referees for lying?
Makes their old firm win tainted, if the league had been close , this game would have to been replayed.
I have to agree ST, looks very much as if this was DougieGate 2 as predicted the other day. I have a feeling we will hear much more about this in the coming days.
Celtic have accepted the punishment for Lennon for the game at Ibrox so it looks very much like the SFA bottled it and Celtic let them. Without knowing more than that, there isn't much more we can say other than suspect they lied and, like you say, hopefully hear more in the coming days.
Daily record today , Lennon escapes with two game ban !!! Surely it's ,Butcher x2 , McIntyre, McCall , Shiels and Mccoist who escaped punishment . They all committed the same crime as Lennon and critised the referee , least Lennon Lennon had a valid excuse , a last minute penalty decision in a cup final

As the season comes to a close, we've won the league despite some horrific decisions against us ,went out three cup competitions with controversial late penalty decisions in every one including the stonewall hand ball in Udinese .Again this season Lennon has been cheated and lied to by match officials . Hopefully with Rangers out the way fairness will return to Scottish football after a 138 year wait !!!
So, Lennon gets a two match ban for critiscing the referee's decisions ... It doesn't add up! He was asked about the match and Lennon gave his opinion about the match and teh refs performance! Are Managers not allowed to do this?
Only Celtic managers are not allowed to do it , look at Mccoist walked out Aluko hearing , abused this season refs including a ref in a game not involving Rangers and abused, last season refs as well . This went totally unpunished , Scottish football is corrupt .
