This! Well not really the end of the last line, in fact that's a load of nonsense, but he has the idea!

Says the guy who still goes on about Grant Holt being a 'cheat' with nothing to substantiate that on because of a game that happened over a year ago now! <doh>

I reckon Town should get Charlie from Busted, the singer from Keane, the bassist from Editors and Nik Kershaw together for a kit launching supergroup single next season <laugh>

I think it's disgraceful of the club tbh, fair enough for them to investigate but if he's lifted them from an unprotected area of the website then it's their web designer/administrators fault and they should apologise to be honest. I understand why they've involved the police as there was the possibility of hacking etc involving the misuse of computers but as this was fairly simple there's no way this lad should be gone after like this.

Lets face it we'd all probably have done similar and if the club don't like it then the pictures should NOT have been on the server ANYWHERE prior to the official launch - It's not hard really!

Probably end up with a criminal record for his trouble! <doh> Very bad PR for the club just at the time when they want to encourage the fans to buy the stuff! This shabby episode certainly puts our new kit promotion into perspective. <ok>

If they posted the picture up on the website for all to see, what can they really do about it? Probably don't realise that disabling right click, save as can be overcome simply by dragging the picture to a new window and thought he must have got through security with some amazing hack (is the right click still disabled, it used to be!?)

Anyway, what law has he broken? Technically you can't take photos at the ground I don't think. For those that have, are they going to call the police for that too? I think they have some explaining to do, personally. A lot of people I have spoken to we're pretty annoyed about the club being so heavy handed over something so trivial.

It is ridiculous from the club really. Can anyone else remember when they tried to prosecute a fan in the summer for selling a beer branded 'On the Ball City'? They should be working in the interests of the supporters, not try to prosecute anyone who shows passion for the club in any way they disapprove of.

If we were in the relegation zone of any league right now, all hell would let loose with a story like this - the board want to be more careful with their PR.

The on the ball ale was different - it was a guy who should of known better using the Norwich City brand to make money without Norwich's permission. This is a kid who has found a picture of the new kit - is probably excited - and put it on twitter. I'll be very surprised (And disappointed) if the club pursue charges!

The BBC are expecting a club statement (of some sort) around 7 p.m. tonight, apparently.

What a horrible piece of work talking about "intellectual property" as if it's the same as the lad breaking into the club shop and nicking the top secret kit release folders.

He didn't even break into a virtual area by all accounts if they put them out on a public page. Our kit got released early before the start of this season on Twitter and the club could do bugger all about it. They didn't half get angry, mind you! <laugh>

Norwich City owe that supporter a big apology, and I doubt your sponsors and kit manufacturers will be too happy either that some incompetent IT grunt has put your kit picture in a compromising position like that. Good, I say. Sponsors out of football shirts. :) What a disgusting way to treat a 17-year-old passionate fan though.

I'm struggling to think what law this person has broken. The most likely I can think is defamation.

How can showing a picture of a shirt be defamation!!! Whoever manufactured that shirt must obviously be facing charges from the good-taste police!
