I really enjoy this board for the quality of the contributions and the contributors. I once likened it to being down the pub with your mates talking about football with the occasional jokes and little stories thrown in. Just occasionally a troublesome individual turns up and our regular bouncer Channonfodder sorts him out quickly. We even enjoy the compny of some great fans who support Pompey. There is banter and it is mostly gentle but just occasionally one or two of us fall back on old ways and then our resident barman Beddytare gets things back in line sometimes quietly and othertimes with a few threats thrown in. In the main the regulars in this mythical pub get along well together and make up and shake hands quickly after a petty argument. If Heineken made pubs it would be like this board chock full of warm friendly people with Beddy as barman standing the drinks all night and Channon on the door making sure everyone behaves. And that is just how it should be..
Just like the old days Godders.........I don't mind standing the drinks as long as you lot do the paying...... cheers for the support....
Can we have our beer in glasses and not just be given a bottle. You could always collect them in quickly if Barnard pops in with his mates for a quick one.
I've never seen such a love fest in here. I must admit I enjoy Alex's comments. Sometimes controversial, always original but it's clear there's passion for Southampton FC. Let's get the job done at Middlesbrough and have a cracking summer!

I was on here last year as saintinoz while living in Sydney and found the site invaluable for information and gossip being so far away ,I still don't like or get the hostility to individuals because of not agreeing their opinions And have considered not participating anymore because of it but am still sticking in there as was pointed out if nothing else we all have a love for this club which is bigger than any individual being fans, players,chairman or staff,also the odd non football discussion to my mind is also interesting and as far as I'm concerned welcome,,let's all hope that next season it's a premier league forum,,
Brilliant site, brilliant people. Not everyone agrees but we aren't meant to. I enjoy listening to someone else's view on Saints. Looking at things from another perspective can be very interesting. May 2012-13 season of Not606 be as good as the last couple! COYR Oh and love you all lots haha
