Having watched several different angles on the incident I have convinced myself that Lala did not intentionally dive, his ankle was clipped by Ashdown and it was in trying to stay up that made it look unwieldy, his momentum created a loss of balance, if you look at the Peterborough match, he was tripped but managed to stay upright and got in the cross to Chaplow to set up Billy. It does pay to stay on your feet if you can.
