I'm undecided. If I stay in Northern Ireland and they keep the Grammar School Education system (they should IMO) then obviously my choice is made. If I live in England I think I'd probably TRY and go for a good quality state school. Mine was a Catholic State school and was OK grades-wise, I reckon I'd have been pushed more if I went private but I wouldn't have mixed with or met the lads I now consider some of my best mates (granted I'd have made new friends, but I've found myself mixing with lots more private school lads at uni, so feels like the best of both worlds).

With my Mam n Sister both being state primary school teachers I think I feel compelled to put my trust in that system, PLUS my tax £££s will be going towards that education anyway, so might as well take advantage of it!

Spot on. Black refers to the race, not the exact skin colour! Black people can have really dark or fairly light skin, they're still black, just as white people can be almost white or quite dark skinned, they're still white/caucasian. Referring to a black person as black isn't offensive unless it's a prefix to a derogatory word and the same applies to white or spanish etc. If a black person pointed into a crowd and said "that white bloke over there" would anyone be offended? What about if he said "that white **** over there"? All of a sudden it's racist and the same applies with any race.

Common sense really, the pc brigade has ****ed it up for everyone to be fair.

I think it's understandable if Tash is a little racist... I mean he did have death threats coming at him from terrorists at 12...

I think he confused with school ground bullying there. He does seem like the sort of person who got bullied at school.

ie bullies, as I said above, you can tell when he's on here, that he's always looking for people's approval, in a way that suggests he was bullied at school and not very popular.

As far as I understand it, everyone does...It's not a case of being on or off, we all have aspects to our personality that go on autistic spectrum...I worked with a couple of lads with Aspergers in my year out before uni and he reminds me a lot of them!

Yeah me and me dad helped someone out who was researching into Aspergers and yet he found it more difficult than me, despite the fact I am diagnosed and he isn't.

My Dad's never been diagnosed but he demonstrates so many tendencies I don't think he needs to be...He's a doctor and would work with autistic kids but genuinely can't see it in himself. Quite strange though, 'cause one lad especially who I worked with used to apologise to people when he knew his autism was left him in awkward situations.

Also have you ever read the book 'The Curious Incident With The Dog In The Night' ... Written from the point of view of a severely autistic lad, really well done and a genuinely good/easy read!
