Everyone supporting us in Europe except Spurs and QPR

We're really not, don't get me wrong we hate Spurs but had some of your fans been a bit more contrite rather than the ones listed in my sig you wouldn't see as many articles mocking Spurs.

Rather than keep schtum when you were 13 points ahead and shown humility, you insisted on coming on our boards giving it large and saying how awful we are.

There are two lessons to be learnt here:

1. Don't kick a dog when it's down

2. He who laughs last, laughs loudest

If it's any consolation, no Leeds fans I know want you to win it.

Barcelona are the best of a bad bunch. Real = tax-using, bank-controlling state football club, Bayern = cheating, omnipresent bunch of dickheads, Chelsea = cockneys.

VIVA BARCA, or whatever you're meant to say if you want them to win it.

Why would Rugby League supporters care about Chelsea ??

 

Exactly, a city of 750k with 20,000 football fans

 

They probably wouldn't, unless they were interested in football. Hence why I said 'Leeds fans', not 'Rhinos fans', and posted it on a football board, not a rugby league one.

Even when our fans refuse to go to Elland Road, we still get bigger crowds than the egg-chasers who win silverware every season!

Because the rest are boycotting that horrible Chelsea **** Bates, myself included as of next season.

 

What about your 5k crowds preRevie.

 

Pre-Revie, we were predominantly a tin-pot football club in a far smaller city which was a lot more rugby-inclined. The point is that Revie changed all that.

Still, I know nothing of any 5k crowds. Lowest I've heard of was in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy a couple of years ago.

 

Even at your peak under Revie you never got crowds or averages as big as Chelsea.

Seems strange for a city as big as Leeds.

Maybe that's to do with a lack of history, not being formed until after WW1.

Or not being a football city. The Sheffield clubs pull in 40k in Div 1 with a smaller population

 

In fairness Leeds have a massive following which IMO is easily in the top 10 in the UK despite being in the 2nd tier. Their away support is a good as any. Hate Leeds but I'd never knock their support and a good friend of mine is a long suffering Leeds fan.

 

Their away support is disproportionate to their home support (which is disprop to their population).
