Wasn't really a competition. I don't want to blow smoke up my own arse but i play off 11 and sweats doesn't really play so it was a mess about. I played gash, it's an utterly **** course and i didn't take it remotely seriously, fair to say neither of us pulled up any trees! Nice couple of beers in Tewkesbury after though. Decent bit of food too.
He is a much better golfer than me.. Last time I played was with him last august.. Though I did play reasonably well, was striking the ball quite nicely, even sank a few putts.

Sweats, i won that comp i texted you about on Saturday . First summer board comp, big old 100year old trophy. The bollocks man, it's the ambition to get on the board, even if this one is stuck down in the locker room! You wouldn't think it possible given how **** i was last week. I am also hungover as it goes. Went out in gloucester to watch the match and ended up on the Old Rosey in weatherspoons. I love that stuff, only had two pints, but it's bloody dangerous.
Well done mate... It was my mates birthday yesterday I drank a bottle pinot then 4 pints of ale then another bottle of sauv blanc... and someone produced the evil stuff hence a 4 am departure... feel truly terrible today.
So, what's happening this weekend? Apart from sweats fraternising with those fox hunting ****ers. I've got my parents down visiting so, with the weather being forecast to be ****, this means us all being in one house getting on each others nerves. Great. Can't even play golf to follow up last Saturday.
