Who should get the number 7 shirt ?

As we all know its an important number to us and it looks like owen will leave this summer, in my opinion we should give it to Valencia.

 

depends who we sign in the summer..

we are being linked with Modric again in the papers today.. if we buy him i'd give it to him.

I just don't get that feeling about Modric. I reckon he wouldn't thrive at United and to be honest don't see what the fuss is about with him.

I would stick our ageing midfielders such as gerrard and scholes before him any ****ing day. I also think wishere kicks the **** out of him, i know he is injured but he is far more complete

 

Of our available central midfield players he is a certainty to go to the euros. Him and Gerrard would form a fair partnership in my opinion. Scholes won't go, Wilshere is injured Lampard is on the way out and Barry is ****. Shoe in i reckon!

Yep hence the word "struggles" to be international class, it's by default. I think he is a decent player for us, but I would be very happy for him to replaced next year if anyone actually decent came up

 

I would like Rooney to get it, I'm sure he could have had it had he wanted it, but he seems like the obvious number 7 type of player to me
