Almost all of our games will be on TV next season if we go up.Some will be on foreign TV (3pm KO) and others on SKY.
Assuming it's really going to happen, I think the games will be enjoyable in a relatively more relaxed way, especially after the first year. Fighting for promotion like we have for the last couple of years has been exciting to the point of nerve wracking. It's been a time of glory getting here and if we succeed I'm hoping for a more settled time building the club up and seeing how far we can go.
ha ha! Don't you remember those endless relegation battles? They can be just as nerve wracking/wrecking!
Am dreading being on TV more. I love Saturday at 3pm, it's the time football is meant to be played. Not Saturday lunchtime, not 5.30 on Saturday, not Friday night , not Sunday at 12.45, 2, 4 or after. Particularly not Monday. The only games I've had to miss this season have been midweekers and one Friday night because I couldn't wangle the time. I hope we don't get changed around too much (except first game of the season, I want an away TV tie as I'll be in Canada!)
Another reason not to go overboard in the transfer market is that if we did go down, we could end up being lumbered with expensive players that don't perform. The PL is a tough league and not all of the clubs that come up stay up. The team we have at the moment is a decent Championship team so Adkins will have to work very hard to keep us up and make the team stronger until the long-term planning catches up.
This. 90%+ of our games next season will be available to stream somewhere online which is great for me seeing as I'm a student and therefore too skint to be able to afford anything more than 10 or so home games and the odd away game. Does that make me a plastic fan?
I dont think the home fans number will go up too much, 2-3 thousand. the main dif will be the the away fans going from 200 to 4 thousand. my brother has had a season ticket for 15 years, but this year was unable to because of no work- do you think he will be able to renew without too many probs?
I'm looking forward to opposition supporters being surprised and amazed by lallana's skills and quality as well as them realising just how good rickie lambert actually is. Also the England call up for Lambo
No, we will be averaging over 30,000 again. In reply to the season ticket bit, yes he will, but he will have to pay the 'joining fee'
I'm looking forward to seeing who we buy in transfer window, definetly booking deadline day off work but think Nigel may do all business before.
