It's *shock* yellow and green I think the pass it on idea is a great one... with everyone off on their summer hols there'll be shots of fans bearing the shirt next to landmarks all over the world.
the pass it on idea is good, i agree, but the execution of the video was a bit off for me. should have been shorter thats for sure - i got bored watching it - i'm sure that wasn't supposed to happen!
I think after last year top-drawer effort ( Gazzetta della Sport, etc) we were always going to struggle to equal/beat that. Next year's launch will have a much easier job based on theis current video Stephen Fry threatening to eat ducks posing as 1p5wich fans is a tad on the 'desparate' side.
rubbish video...average idea...disappointed when comparing it to last years...but they could easily have come up with something better - this time next year next year i'll send them some ideas - having hoolahan start it wasn't an inspired choice - not because i dont love the guy - but he's about as animated as a beegee in a coma...and while i do like stephen fry - his little chatter bored the hell out of me... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-17767236 Did anyone see this? think it will be incredibley sad if he gets into actual trouble for it all - as far as i can see he has done exactly what i would have - went on the website, they'd cocked up and he could view the image, copy pasta into twitter and suddenly theres talk of legal proceedings...he's a season ticket holder, home and away fan - just an excited fan - perhaps the club should look at why the image was available for people to view ahead of its official launch, and then sack the person responsible...
i think the club are very wary of anyone who leaks information. following on from the dion dublin-CMS saga, the club are taking a very, very strict approach to these matters. they can't choose to deal with some leaks and not others - even though i'm absolutely sure there was no malice involved
i agree in terms of investigating potential leaks - but its not a leak in the same respect - its a fan who saw something he shouldn't have because some website engineer didnt do what he was meant to...legally i'm not even sure they could do anything? imagine receiving that 4.30am phonecall...
i agree with you gruffnuts - i'm not suggesting the club are right, merely what i think they are doing and why. i think it seems very harsh myself to get the police involved. surely the club will see sense and not press charges... it would be a massive PR **** up
exactly I bet it's a green and yellow version of Middlesborough's Errea shirt back then too. Not a fan of any kits from the 90's. I know some of you have fond memories of that decade I certainly do but style wise most people looked like utter pricks it even gave the utter confusion of the 80's a sense of style! What's next turtleneck tracksuits? Lambert wearing turquoise YSL shirts to press conferences?
