Bet there weren't many in the Spain team who were actually born there. If GB ever play over there, hopefully Stevie Lyle will be netminder. He made his debut for Cardiff Devils age 16 (I think he's still the youngest debutant in British top-flight ice hockey) and had a spell in the North American minor leagues but he's back at Cardiff now. I used to watch him when I was at Uni (1991 - 1996) and he was the best British netminder in the league.

 

Another success from New Zealand ice hockey team. Today they were beaten 17:0 by Serbia. Serbia are in the ranking as 30. and New Zealand 38.
