not606

It's been a while now since not606 opened it's doors and most of us moved over from the BBC 606 pages on hearing it was going to be closed in it's ongoing cuts.

What a good move it was for us. Instead of just being a group of strangers that support the TOON we all became a bunch of mates that got to know each other quite well and even met up on an occasion or two. The added facilities and features offered on not606 gave it that little bit something extra too. So many fun features that helped us to add to threads and comments and give more interest and humour to each post.

No heavy handed moderation on here but always somebody on hand to keep things on the straight and narrow if things start to get out of hand. All in all an excellent move forward for all of us.

Got to say wouldn't class anyone as friends, due to the fact I know no-one's name and have never met anyone on here. However there are people who I think it would be good to end up meeting up with.

 

I just cant believe how friendly it is even when i had that rough patch you all helped me and I hope to maybe meet yous all in the future

When I first heard the news that BBC606 was closing I was gutted and worried, thought oh no, got to join one of these **** Newcastle forums that you see, but this is just sensational. I hope one day Mick can start making a profit from this site as it is just sensational, not too much advertisement but some that is at the bottom wouldn't hurt, and I wouldn't mind as Mick would be getting something out of it.

I am glad I have been given the chance to be a moderator as well, I am hated with the mackems(its ****ing hilarious at times)but hopefully AG and I are doing a good job for you all.

Yeah same mate, did do a bit on BBC but do a heck of a lot more on here, Due to the fact it is much better on here.

 

To be fair I heard it mentioned thought nothing of it, then saw the link to here and that everyone was coming over so followed.

 

Yeah praise him, he is a legend for making a website like this, Great man.
