    Do you care?

I am a big sport fan and will watch a lot but am I excited, no, would I care if it was cancelled, not really. Why, Olympics, FA Cup Final even The Grand National, all big events in there day, all must watch TV, why are they now so devalued, or is it just me.

    I love the Olympics.
The culmination of four years total graft, and for the majority they get bugger all. For the chosen few however, fame and fortune and the knowledge that you are the best in the World.
Far more worthy than your average over hyped, over paid Footballer.

Love the athletics and will probably watch the women's beach volleyball , but otherwise the only thing will be waiting to see when the GB football team implodes.

No interest in the first week or whatever, only thing I really like is the track and field events.

I love the Olympics, especially the athletics, although I'm also an avid watcher of any event where we have a chance of a gold medal..

LOL, my thoughts exactly Syd, he is a bit picky for a spotty virgin.

Anyway, I love the Olympics but getting to work is going to be a complete ball ache, going to try and work from home if I can.

yep love the olympic games in London - lets drain resorces/lottery money from the regions and rebuild Londons East End - lets convince the daft f***ers in the regions that this is a good thing and pour more money into the South East of England - or am I being a tad cynical

    Penguin,
Couldnt agree more, cant get excited at all over these games, am heartedly sick of turning on the TV and its on virtually every news bulletin, 100 days to go so f---ing what, Seb Coe was a prick when he was an athlete and now hes a prick with a title, and as for the Torch route, if it was passing my front door I'd draw the curtains. Roll on next season I say it will be all over by then.

I watched a program on channel 4 I think it was it was called something like "the real cost of the olympics" when they were trying to convince us that they would benefit all of Britain - and they highlighted the money that was being drained from the regions to pay for the LONDON olympics - I also heard about 2-3 years ago that people who co-ordinated requests to the lottery (you know the good causes bit) where being told to limit their requests as the cash was being diverted to guess where?
