POTY of the year awards - wrong on so many levels

I'll tell you why, because Michael Carrick should be on there, he's been fantastic for us this season and he should've been in the england squad as well, the reason why he's not on it is because he doesn't have a flashy name and doesn't score enough goals from midfield, i don't get why Scott Parker is in it for the second year in a row, all he does is 5 yard passes, anyone can do that.

To be fair, Rooney has scored 31 goals in 39 games for us.

Of course not. I mean we are only in a lowly first place and Rooney has only scored 31 goals. I mean its obviously not his main job so we shouldnt count his goals.

Clearly this also means RVP should not be there as well, all he does is score. Infact unlike rooney who lets face it, at times runs the United midfield aswell as scoring goals , RVP does nothing.

De Gea who didnt even make the list has been for the last 4 months the best Keeper in the division by a mile. Now 4 months isnt a season but when OXO makes the list after player about 23seconds of football this year then De Gea and scholes should both be there.

Aguero and Silva have been dire........the first few weeks and the last few weeks aside, the middle of the season I thought they had both gone to visit old Carlos in Argentina. Apparently they were still playing for City.

Jonny Evans deserves a shout aswell, be solid all season.

So a United side with the best Keeper, once of the best defensive units and in Evans a defender whos had a great season, a midfielder in Carrick who has been brilliant for us, a legend amongst legends whos return has seen us sky rocket to the top of the league in scholes, a striker/AM/superman combo known only as rooney who even when playing bad scores 10 goals in 10 games and a young striker whos really shown what hes capable of this season.

I agree, no United player should be in the running, we should just win both due to the ****ING INSULT of last seasons awards.

Who are these amazing players at unimaginably **** clubs who are doing so amazing they deserve to be picked ahead of players at the club who are on course to smash several records.
