Hmmmphh, including the Premier League badge, name and number I spent £60 on my shirt... is this valid for more than 1 season, because it says 2012-13 home kit on the description... Oh and add £5 for the delivery... oh I really hope my student loan comes through soon.
all the kits are for one season from now on. it was explained years ago. if you don't want it, don't buy it. never quite understood this notion that you have to buy it. i realise children can be very difficult to say 'no' to but perhaps if the word 'no' was used to kids a bit more they would learn they can't always get what they want and wouldn't be out smashing bus shelters up all night. sorry, not sure why i ranted like that
Interesting little pass it on promotion video. Not taking the piss but your kits never seem to change that much. I would of thought you could have done something to add difference to it, whether that be pin stripes or adding a bit more green to the shirt? Dont know how it would go down with the fans and the new kit itself looks nice enough just very samey.
i think its traditional looking and retro - thats whats in at the moment and personally i like it although i have to admit the current home shirt was always going to be an instant classic, so this one had a lot to live up to! i always like clean and simple shirts with the design amends being to the trim rather than the main design - when you see the new man united shirt (if you haven't seen it, its tartan - seriously), all norwich fans will be glad we don't have a kit manufacturer who goes mental with their brushes video was a bit lame but again, last years was brilliant so difficult to top.
The kit's ok, but not a huge amount different from the current one. And the video is nowhere near as good as the last one... even if it has Stephen Fry talking about 1p5wich supporting ducks in it!
I'm pretty glad they haven't messed with it too much, These are amongst the classiest shirts we've ever had, more happy that Aviva are here for four more years (Not surprised they signed up, makes sense all round really). GK strip looks pretty cool too. I shall shell out in the summer
More funds for the club as well - not as nice as this year's shirt but need to keep the faith and will be on my birthday list lol !!
Both my son and myself will be buying the new shirt and I'm just having my name on it this year - won't bother with the PL badges and a number. Wonder if there will be any changes on the away shirt??
any idea how much the aviva deal is for? was shocked to see we earn almost the least from sponsorship of all the PL teams!
I remember reading it is a 7 figure sum before it was announced who the sponsor would be but know no more than that.
I was just saying to my son the other day that I hope we stay with a local firm as sponsor even if it does bring in less money, rather than go down the route of the proliferation of betting firms that are sponsoring a lot of the teams nowadays. I hoped it would be either be Aviva or Lotus.
Aviva is not really a local company, origins in London and has just bought 101 insurance groups since the 16th century
Nice to see the football league show has inspired our video looks a bit two bob if I'm to be entirely honest. I really like the shirt we have at the moment just with a V-Neck on the medium is a tad tight. As for the new kit personally I think it looks ****e, there is something about collars I really don't like reminds me of crappy rugby tops.
Didn't we used to have a dark blue tartan away strip? I'm sure I remember one - and actually thought (at the time) it was quite sexy
I like it. I like the current one although the collar is not very comfortable (I notice many of the players cut the front to make it more comfortable, something I am not going to do to a shirt I have paid 40 quid for!). for me, the only thing for me that needed changin was the collar and they have done that.
I liked having the sleeves like they are on the current one, but other than that is ok. It's a nice kit, just I think the one we have now is even better!
