Tonight Chelsea have to do what not many English clubs had done before, they also have the disadvantage of playing the first leg of two encounters at home. On Tuesday 20 February 2007 Liverpool went to the Nou Camp and beat Barcelona by two goals to one,Barcelona scored first through Deco and Liverpool came back brilliantly by goals from Craig Bellamy and John Arne Riise. I know some people would like to argue that the present Barcelona are stronger than Barcelona of 2007. If Chelsea can beat Barcelona tonight they are capable of going to Nou Camp and get a draw, but I would like to think that the game is over if they cannot beat Barcelona on their own ground tonight. Good luck Chelsea.
I personally do not see anything other than a Barca victory.....just being realistic. We will absolutely muller you at Wembley though.
Barcelona haven't looked ruthless of late, I don't get how everyone gives Chelsea next to no chance. Chelsea can beat anyone on their day and Barcelona aren't super human. I fancy Chelsea tonight and I think they'll come away with a win. As for the Nou Camp? That could be the undoing of Chelsea. Like you said, it's a must for Chelsea to win tonight, and to perhaps even keep a clean sheet.
If you are not that confident to face Barcelona on your own ground:what makes you think that you can beat Liverpool on a neutral ground?.
I expect Barcelona to win, but they're certainly not invincible, and Chelsea have as good a chance as any.
If Chelsea play direct and don't buy into trying to beat Barca at their own style they have a chance. However, Barca have a knack of drawing teams into trying to play their game. If that happens it's curtains for Chelsea. Chelsea need to play with width knocking balls into the box at every opportunity, also they need a player that can spread the ball around from in front of the back four therefore avoiding the middle of the park. At all costs try and keep the ball away from the middle of the park. Play with pace, play dirty, and play long balls is the only way to beat this Barca team.
Come on Barca, funny vid here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLqcVOg1TUk&feature=related Classless fans here http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11945/7682266/Ovrebo-death-threats-continue Not exactly covered themselves with glory recently have they?
Yeah its my board mate Can you not see my point of your morons upsetting alot of families on Sunday? All you can do is take digs like littlle Northern man, sad little man etc I hope Barca tear you a new one tonight
And you have the nerve to call me an internet hardman...what a bell end Get and check my response, and chill the **** out you prick....none of us on here condoned what happened on Sunday, much like many of your fans no doubt don't condone the Munich chants, so take your outrage and stick it up your arse. ****.
If Chelsea don't pull through with at least a 5-0 win tonight it will be difficult for them to survive the second leg. It has just been on Sky that Messi is a doubt for tonight.
" And you have the nerve to call me an internet hardman...what a bell end Get and check my response, and chill the **** out you prick....none of us on here condoned what happened on Sunday, much like many of your fans no doubt don't condone the Munich chants, so take your outrage and stick it up your arse. ****. " See "Overdo admits mistake" thread on your board. ****ers like those from Sunday dont understand the damage and upset they cause. Thinking they're hard and clever, nothing but little pricks Anyway, im not getting into a slanging match over the internet with name calling I know it wasnt all of your fans, but my stomach still turns from it. We all have our moronic fans
It's a tough one, I despise Barca. Think I would prefer to see a Munich-Chelsea final with the Germans claiming it.
No one has said anything out of line on that thread, you just came on there and started about the ****s who chanted at the weekend and giving us **** for no reason. In fact you're still at it, I just had a look on there.
